MLB DFS 4/5/21 – JRueb’s Hitter Breakdown

Welcome everyone to Rueb’s Hitter Breakdown! This season I will be going into detail about my favorite hitters on the main slate for each day. If you would like to pick up a Core plays subscription, you can do so here. Lets get into it!

Value:

Yoshi Tsutsugo- Tsutsugo has had a tough start to his 2021 campaign. But, we always overrated small samples when it comes to players early in the season. He gets an awesome price tag and hitting lead off for a Rays team that’s in a great hitting environment and matchup for left handed bats.

Kevin Pillar- Pillar will be leading off for the Mets tonight after winning a starting OF job versus lefty after an awesome spring training. The Mets are one of the hottest teams coming into the season. We will see how they are impacted by their Covid delay to start the year. I like the Mets as a stack tonight and Pillar starts that stack!

Studs:

Christian Yelich- The former MVP has the best hitting environment on the slate. Don’t let Trevor Williams DK price fool you…this is a guy we want to attack. I love the Brewers tonight with the wind blowing out in Wrigley!

Alex Bregman- Bregman looks locked in at the plate to start the season. One of the best hitters in baseball is hot and gets to face a soft throwing lefty. Only way Bregman doesn’t pay off today is if they pitch around him.

Stacks:

Mets: Pillar-Lindor-Conforto-Alonso-Davis

Brewers: Wong-Hiura-Yelich-Garcia

Rays: Tsutsugo-Meadows-Arozarena-Lowe-Margot

Bold Calls:

Double Dong: Yelich

1% HR: JD Davis

SB: Margot

4 Hits: Lindor
