Slate Thoughts:

    • There are a number of cash options at pitcher on this slate. The best pairing includes Zack Wheeler and Lance McCullers Jr., although I believe you can add Brandon Woodruff to that top group, as well. After them, you’re spending up a bit more for Luis Castillo but I prefer him more in tournaments, as he’s the underdog in this game and I’d much rather play it safe with favorites in cash. The final option is Luke Weaver. He can be considered for his price tag but there’s enough value on that slate that you can easily fit two of the three top options, making Weaver a pitcher I’m not likely to attack in cash.
    • Adam Wainwright has been enjoying an outstanding season, gets a great matchup, and will go overlooked as a small underdog to Woodruff. He’s an elite GPP pivot. I’m not expanding my options very much, focusing heavily on the trio of cash options with Castillo or Wainwright but Michael Pineda and Aaron Civale are in great spots tonight and can be added to the GPP pool, as well. Civale is the one that stands out more against the Pittsburgh Pirates, though.
    • The bats aren’t overly obvious in cash games on this slate, although the Chicago White Sox are likely the chalkiest stack with Edwin Encarnacion featuring a ridiculous price tag. The Los Angeles Dodgers, Kansas City Royals, and Atlanta Braves all make interesting stacks in cash tonight, as well. Furthermore, Harold Castro, Willi Castro, and Daulton Varsho are three cheap options that will allow you to spend up at pitcher tonight.
    • Quite frankly, I don’t think you need to move off of any of the three stacks listed below the White Sox in tournaments. Ownership isn’t likely to fall to them but they are in elite spots. The Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox are other options that will go overlooked tonight. They don’t feature the elite Vegas totals but they get plus matchups and can be used in GPPs on this slate.
