Bales’ Premium PrizePicks – MLB Player Props 5/2/19 (Early)

Eric Thames has seen somewhat of limited at-bats over his last 10 games, but he has forced his way into this lineup with a .304 average, .609 slugging percentage, and 1.075 OPS. He owns three extra-base hits (two home runs) and eight RBIs over that span, while averaging 8.3 fantasy points per game. He has seen three or more at-bats in six of those 10 games, and he’s averaging a healthy 10.5 fantasy points per game in those contests. Thames also owns 52% hard hit and 36% fly ball rates with to along with a 95 MPH exit velocity over the last 15 days. His splits are similar against both left- and right-handed pitching, but he gets a solid matchup against Jon Gray today. Thames is hitting second in the Milwaukee Brewers lineup, and he’ll benefit greatly from playing at home tonight.

Charlie Blackmon has always been a better option at home, but he’ll be playing in Milwaukee’s hitter friendly stadium tonight. Over his last 10 games (two road series), Blackmon has posted a .372 average with a .698 slugging percentage and a 1.135 OPS. He owns eight extra-base hits (two home runs), eight RBIs, and one steal over that span. He’s also averaging 12.9 fantasy points per game in those contests. Blackmon gets a plus matchup against Freddy Peralta, who throws essentially one pitch. He brings 0.056 wOBA and 0.084 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching into this game, and Peralta simply doesn’t have the “stuff” to overpower a hitter like Blackmon.

Play $25 on Eric Thames OVER 6.0 fantasy points and Charlie Blackmon OVER 7.0 fantasy points to win $62.50 (2.5x)
