Ketel Marte has been playing relatively well recently, posting a .250 average with a .545 slugging percentage and an .828 OPS over his last 10 games. He owns five extra-base hits (four home runs) and eight RBIs in those games. He also comes with stolen base potential that he hasn’t flashed recently. Over the last 15 days, Marte boasts 54% hard hit and 47% fly ball rates with a 96 MPH exit velocity. He gets a plus matchup against Jake Arrieta, who has struggled with a 4.92 xFIP at home and a 5.85 xFIP against left-handed batters. Most importantly, Marte is hitting .298 with a .563 slugging percentage and a .916 OPS on the road this season. He’s averaging 10.6 fantasy points per game in those contests, and he’s in a spot to find success one again tonight.

Freddie Freeman has quickly become one of the hottest hitters in baseball, as he owns a .325 average with an .800 slugging percentage and a 1.213 OPS over his last 10 games. He has recorded 9 extra-base hits (5 home runs), 11 RBIs, and 1 stolen base in those games. He has also posted 59% hard hit and 40% fly ball rates to go along with a 96 MPH exit velocity over the last 15 days. Freeman gets a plus matchup against Chris Archer, who has struggled against left-handed batters in recent years. While that hasn’t truly been the case this season, he expected to see regression against lefties, as his xFIP against left-handed batters sits at 4.95, while he owns a 4.86 xFIP against righties. Freeman should see plenty of RBI and run opportunities in this game, making the over that much more likely.
