Yandy Diaz has quietly caught fire recently, as he’s hitting .429 with a .643 slugging percentage and a 1.097 OPS over his last 10 games. He also owns five extra-base hits (two home runs) and nine RBIs in those games. Diaz has scored double-digit fantasy points in four of his last five games, as well. Over that last 15 days, he brings 44% hard hit and 36% fly ball rates with a 93 MPH exit velocity into this game. He gets a plus matchup against J.A. Happ, as well, and he has recorded 0.059 wOBA and 0.036 ISO differentials against left-handed pitching. Diaz will be playing in an extremely hitter friendly stadium tonight, and he’s expected to hit fourth in the Tampa Bay Rays lineup. While Happ is a solid pitcher, he’s far from a scary option to attack, and Diaz has been hot enough to play the over at this total.

Why stop here, right? Mike Trout has a ridiculous 10 fantasy point total, which is still lower than last nights. If you read my MLB Cheat Sheet, you saw that I liked Trout over 11 fantasy points, which hit with ease. Over his last 10 games, he’s hitting .314 with a .800 slugging percentage and a 1.255 OPS. He has recorded eight extra-base hits (four home runs) and eight RBIs over that span, as well. As if that isn’t enough, Trout has posted 51% hard hit and 57% fly ball rates with a 96 MPH exit velocity over the last 15 days. He gets a solid matchup against Marcus Stroman, although I worry about his sinker. Still, Trout owns 0.078 wOBA and 0.123 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching, and he’s an elite option in a hitter friendly stadium tonight.

Play $25 on Yandy Diaz OVER 7.5 fantasy points and Mike Trout OVER 10.0 fantasy points to win $62.5 (2.5x)
