Pitching- LOADED PITCHING SLATE TODAY…..kidding…..we have some weak options on the mound today. Mike Minor vs the White Sox is the second-highest priced option today. When there isn’t an option that I feel will separate significantly from the pack, I always spend down. I am always more likely to spend down early in the season as well. Most pitchers aren’t fully stretched out yet and have significant pitch limits. Today I will be living in the mid-range with two guys who impressed in their first outings of the season. Matt Shoemaker gets a weak Seattle lineup, he is also the biggest favorite on the slate giving him some nice win equity. I feel less strong about Ponce de Leon, but he is my SP2 today. The Brewers lineup has a lot of strikeouts in it right now. I will try to get away with these two cheap arms and win the slate with my bats today!

Stacks-

Angels- Back to the well on the Angels today! I want to have exposure to this small ballpark that Toronto is playing in. Angels disappointed last night outside of the Rendon home run. I expect them to bounce back today in a plus matchup versus Tanner Roark. Roark has a massive fly ball rate of 30% which bodes well for fantasy production. I want to be in on Mike Trout because the two home run game is coming! My favorite stack is the 2-4 of Ohtani-Rendon-Trout.

Cleveland- Cleveland is my favorite low-owned stack today. Rosario has been white-hot to begin the season. They get Jose Urena on the hill today, he does not have elite strikeout stuff. Urena allows a ton of hard contact and allows a wOBA of .353 to left-handed bats. Rosario and Ramirez are the priority guys for the Cleveland stack today. When there is a pitcher on the mound who allows a ton of hard contact and doesn’t make you swing and miss, I want to be invested in Franmil Reyes. Reyes has the potential to break the slate with multiple home runs. The 3-5 stack of Cleveland has a ton of upside and you can round it out with a cheap leadoff hitter in Gimenez.

Padres- The Padres are in the great hitting environment in Texas today. They are still without Tatis, but they did get Trent Grisham back in the lineup. They get Mike Foltynewicz today, he has been getting shelled ever since his days with the Braves. Lefties see the ball very well vs Folty, Grisham is an appealing one-off option, along with Manny Machado. If I was stacking the Padres today, it would be with their 1-3 of Grisham-Profar-Machado.

Bold Calls:

Double Dong: E. Rosario

1% Dong: F. Reyes

SB: A. Gimenez

4 hit game: T. Grisham

10 run team: Cleveland
