Let’s get into it!

Studs:

Aaron Judge: I traditionally don’t like writing up Judge, but the combination of the matchup and hitting environment makes him a very good play today. Robbie Ray struggles with control, his elite strikeout days are behind him. He gets hit hard specifically by Righties. Ray allows a wOBA of .376 and his K rate has fallen below 30%. There are a lot of strikeouts in this Yankee lineup, but they also have some big righty bats that can attack Rays weaknesses.

Matt Chapman: The As are one of my favorite targets today. The name recognition of Mad Bum and the early season production should keep their ownership down. Their implied team total suggests that we should be invested today. They get to hit in a park upgrade in Arizona and have right handed bats near the top that can give Mad Bum hell. I suspect the As will be a priority stack today for me due to their price and the high end pitching available.

Value:

Ramon Laureano/Mark Canha: I told you above that I like the As today. I wasn’t kidding. Canha and Laureano will hit at the top of the order for the As. Canha has been the lone bright spot for the As offense early this season. This is a great bounce back spot for the As. They were a playoff team in my eyes pre-season, so I expect them to get back into form here in Arizona.

Jackie Bradley Jr.: I like this spot for Jackie. He is in an outfield rotation right now to start the season. This is a spot I expect him to lead off. He is slightly above 3k on Draftkings today and that’s the kind of savings we need today if we are going to jam in these high priced stud aces on the mound. Jackie will have the protection of Yelich behind him, so he should see plenty of good pitches today.
