JRueb’s MLB DFS Hitter Breakdown (4/19)

Welcome everyone to Rueb’s Hitter Breakdown! This season I will be going into detail about my favorite hitters on the main slate for each day. If you would like to pick up a Core plays subscription, you can do so here. Now is the time to sign up for our Core plays!

We are running a 25% off promo for a limited time, use promo code MLB2021.

Let’s get into it!

Stud:

Mike Trout/Shohei Ohtani- The Angels sport the highest team total on the slate. They should be popular, and for good reason. Picking on the Ranger’s pitching staff will be a popular and profitable strategy this season. With the wind currently blowing out as well, this is a team I want to be invested in.

Mookie Betts- After missing a few days, Mookie is back! This is a spot I would like to attack. The Dodgers get young pitching prospect, Justus Sheffield, today and he has struggled with control and hard-hit rates to start the season. This is expected since he is still a very raw prospect. The Dodger’s right-handed bats are set up for success tonight and it all starts with Mookie. A multi-hit, multi-run game is in the cards for Mookie today.

Value:

Alex Dickerson/Brandon Belt- The middle of the Giants order is extremely affordable today! They get Chase Anderson in a hitter-friendly environment. You won’t find the Giants with a healthy team total but they are sporting a healthy one today over four. I am encouraged to invest in this offense for a cheap price tag.

Stacks:

Angels- Fletcher-Ohtani-Trout-Walsh

Dodgers- Betts-Seager-Turner-Smith

Giants- Tommy La Stella-Yastrzemski-Dickerson-Belt

Bold Calls:

Double Dong: Trout

1% Dong: Dickerson

SB: Mookie Betts

4 hit game: Tommy La Stella

10 run team: Giants
