JRueb’s MLB DFS Hitter Breakdown (4/20)

Welcome everyone to Rueb’s Hitter Breakdown! This season I will be going into detail about my favorite hitters on the main slate for each day. If you would like to pick up a Core plays subscription, you can do so here. Now is the time to sign up for our Core plays!

We are running a 25% off promo for a limited time, use promo code MLB2021.

Let’s get into it!

Stud:

Bryce Harper: Harper has been incredibly hot. He gets a matchup tonight with Logan Webb of the Giants and the wind is blowing out! Harper is one of my favorite spend-ups on today’s slate.

Trea Turner/Juan Soto: Love this matchup for the Nationals, Adam Wainwright is a gas can. Wainwright struggles to strike out batters and Turner has been red hot. Soto has yet to have that breakout game. They get a weather bump with the wind blowing out as well.

Value:

Matt Joyce: Leading off today for Phillies, Joyce has a lot of pop for sub 3k. We have so much value on this slate but Joyce stands out as a guy I want to be invested in.

Ehire Adrianza: Leadoff hitter for the Braves with Ronald Acuna out. He allows you to spend up at the pitching position today. With the Braves strong bats behind him, if he gets on base they will drive him home.

Stacks:

Phillies: Joyce-Segura-Harper-Realmuto-Miller

Nationals: Turner-Soto-Bell-Schwarber

Cardinals: Edman-Goldy-Arenado-Carlson-Dejong

Coors

Bold Calls:

Double Dong: Arenado

1% Dong: Segura

SB: Turner

4 hit game: Soto

10 run team: Phillies
