Welcome to another MLB DFS Game Theory for the 2021 Season! This year we have a good amount of overlap between the NBA & MLB season, so lots of money to be made. This article will highlight my top plays at each position, and in the analysis portion of the article, we will highlight my top pitchers and stacks for the day.

Pitching: With the way the slate is shaping up, I think that I will definitely just go and play Bauer or Bieber in cash. I think there is enough value on the slate to pay up here, but there are honestly a lot of good mid tier pitchers tonight as well, which I wouldn’t mind. These pitchers include Lucas Giolito, Kevin Gausman, Luis Castillo, and Brandon Woodruff. I think that I will still end up running Bauer tonight in cash, but these mid tier guys could definitely open up some salary with a similar ceiling for tournaments.

Top Stacks:

Rays- I love the lefties here, Meadows, Lowe and Wendle is probably my favorite stack of the day here vs Gibson. Gibson rebounded with a really nice start vs the Jays and he honestly still has a lot of K upside for his price. I have seen a few people on Gibson for a low owned cheap upside play and as much as I can see the play there, I rather go in on the Rays lefties here in this smash spot.

Dodgers-Undisputed best team in the league. I think that they will definitely miss Bellinger for the time being as he recovers from his calf injury, but they still have a ton of power and pop in their lineup. Look for Muncy to bat cleanup and I love this spot for him. Lock and load the Dodgers 1-5. Pricey, but pair them with a mid tier pitcher and you could definitely be sitting pretty.
