Welcome to the second MLB DFS Game Theory of the 2021 Season! This year we have a good amount of overlap between the NBA & MLB season, so lots of money to be made. This article will highlight my top plays at each position, and in the analysis portion of the article, we will highlight my top pitchers and stacks for the day.

Pitching: This is a tough slate for pitching options. Trevor Bauer is clearly the best pitcher from those on the slate but he faces the Rockies in Colorado. The Rockies are going to always be an offensive threat at home but Bauer is an elite talent. He has elite strikeout ability and in this matchup I can definitely see him giving up some runs, but offset it with a high strikeout total game. For now, if I pay up it will be for Bauer.

Top Stacks:

Dodgers – Cody Bellinger, Corey Seager, Mookie Betts (much easier to fit them today than yesterday, and a better matchup here too)

Giants- Love the righties here, Slater, Longoria, Solano are some that stand out to me.

Astros- I like this matchup for them even though Luzardo is a pretty up and coming talent in this league. The Astros always have a bounty on their head, and without Springer this season, they will have to rely on their other bats for offense. Look at Altuve, Correa, and Bregman here vs Luzardo.

If I were to stack a game other than Coors today, I would stack the Giants v Mariners game. I like both sides here, I would prioritize Giants righties and then Mariners lefties + Haniger.
