Welcome to another MLB DFS Game Theory for the 2021 season! This year we have a good amount of overlap between the NBA & MLB season, so there is lots of money to be made. This article will highlight my top plays at each position, and in the analysis portion of the article, we will highlight my top pitchers and stacks for the day.

Top Pitchers:

I like the pitching options we have today- we have two clear cut aces in Lance Lynn and Tyler Glasnow, I love this especially for DK because I can build all my lineups around those two. If I were to pivot somewhere, I would probably go all the way down to Brad Keller. However, I want to definitely get one of these two aces on FanDuel, and on DK I will be running both of them in my cash games and majority of my GPP contests. I know it is hard to pay up here when there is Coors on the slate, but I think with the lack of mid-tier options tonight we have to pay up.

In terms of bats, of course it’s nice to get Coors in where we can, but I also like the Giants, Mets, Pirates (great value) and Cubs. This could be a very interesting slate because honestly I think there are a couple stacks I like more than Coors. I think my favorite low-owned stack tonight is the Pirates vs Jon Lester. He doesn’t give up many runs but has a 1.50 WHIP and 27 strikeouts in 38.2 innings. If the Pirates can get out on the bases I like the SB upside as well.

CORE 4: Lynn, K. Hayes, T. Pham, K. Schwarber

Good luck everyone!
