Updates to come to this section as we approach lock, so continue to check back for more insight.

Hello everybody and welcome back to another DFS Karma Game Theory article! Today there are a couple things to monitor regarding injuries and COVID-19 protocols, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. For injury news, please make sure to check our injury article here! This is a perfect sized slate, 6 games with a good batch of close, and hopefully competitive games. Let’s dive into it.

  • There isn’t any significant news today that drastically changes lineup construction, at least not at the time this article is being made. Other than Aaron Gordon’s injury, we don’t have much else to report. OG Anunoby is out but Norman Powell is back, so that negates the value guards in Terrance Davis/Yuta Watanabe. Let’s dig into it, we have marquee matchups in LAC v BKN and POR v WAS, which highlight this 6 game slate. These are the games I will be focusing on as they have the highest totals on the slate. Check out my NBA First Impression Video to get more insight on the totals and injuries of the day.
  • This Clippers v Nets game will be so fun to watch, we have the duo of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard vs the trio of Kyrie Irving, James Harden and Kevin Durant. Due to their prices, it’ll be hard to get pieces to this game, but I would prioritize George and Leonard here, and if you really wanted a Nets player, I would go Kevin Durant > Kyrie and Harden. Kyrie owns the highest usage rate when all three are on the floor, but it is Durant that has had the better fantasy performances. Jeff Green has been performing very well and this could be a great game for him to play the center position as he has been playing to close out games. If Nicolas Batum is out, look for Marcus Morris to get more run.
  • The Wizards v Blazers game has the second highest total on the slate and will definitely be a fun one to watch. Brodie (Russell Westbrook) has beef with Damian Lillard, and that dates back years now. I wouldn’t be surprised to see tempers flare here and see Dame put on the “Dame Time, Logo Lillard” classic performance. I also like Enes Kanter, Gary Trent Jr., Nassir Little (Q), Anfernee Simons, and Robert Covington here. Keep an eye on this Nassir Little news. We could see Carmelo Anthony become a must play if he ends up starting and Little gets ruled out.
    • Notes:
    • A lot of cheap PF plays, Tillman, Theis, Covington, Birch
    • Little news is huge… Melo can be a lock in all formats if he’s out.
    • Can we fit Clippers in today?
  • Guys who I will have exposure to today in no particular order, other than those in table above. (PLAYER POOL)

  • Cole Anthony
  • R. Jackson
  • M. Brogdon
  • R. Westbrook
  • M. Conley
  • J. Morant
  • D. Melton
  • T. Jones
  • G. Trent
  • P. Siakam
  • J. Brown
  • J. Tatum
  • M. Wagner
  • M. Morris
