Bales’ Bananas – Monkey Knife Fight NBA Prop Picks 3/26/19

Over Under 2/2 – Washington Wizards/Los Angeles Lakers

LeBron James is no longer an easy over, but the play continues to make sense tonight. He’s averaging 29.3 points on 21.9 shot attempts, 6.4 three-point attempts, and 9.0 free throw attempts per game over his last 15 games. He has also posted 27+ points in 13 of those 15 games. He also gets a plus matchup against the Washington Wizards in what will be one of the fastest paced games on the slate. James is also averaging 1.6 more points per game at home, which only helps his case. Thomas Bryant is in an interesting spot tonight. He has been starting for Washington, and he has played 35+ minutes in each of his last two starts. He’s expected to find similar minutes tonight, and Bryant is averaging 10.7 rebounds on a per-36 minute basis this season. As mentioned above, this game will feature an elite pace, giving Bryant extra opportunities for rebounds. He posted 11 rebounds in 28.1 minutes in his only matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers this season, and he could find similar success tonight.

Play $50 on LeBron James OVER 26.5 points and Thomas Bryant OVER 10.5 rebounds to win $130.50 (2.61x)

Over Under 2/2 – San Antonio Spurs/Charlotte Hornets

DeMar DeRozan has struggled with consistency recently, as he’s averaging 20.2 points on 16.0 shot attempts and 5.1 free throw attempts per game over his last 12 games. He has also posted less than 22 points in eight of those 12 games. Furthermore, DeRozan has scored only 16 points in each of his last three games. The matchup against the Charlotte Hornets is a plus, but he only scored 14 points in 39.1 minutes against them in their only matchup this season. The San Antonio Spurs have multiple players who can take over the offense, and there’s simply too many reasons for the under to hit tonight. Hernangomez recorded 10 rebounds in his last game, but he had posted seven or fewer rebounds in nine consecutive games prior to that. In their only matchup this season, Hernangomez recorded three rebounds in 13.5 minutes against San Antonio. He’s only expected to find minutes in the teens or low-20s (at most). While he comes with strong rebounding potential, there’s no reason to believe he’ll be able to rebound at such a rate to find 8+ rebounds in very limited minutes.

Play $50 on DeMar DeRozan UNDER 21.5 points and Willy Hernangomez UNDER 7.5 rebounds to win $124.50 (2.49x)

Over Under 2/2 – Los Angeles Clippers/Minnesota Wolves

Danilo Gallinari has been scoring extremely well recently, as he has posted 20+ points in each of his last nine games. Over that span, he’s averaging 25.1 points on 15.6 shot attempts, 5.9 three-point attempts, and 6.0 free throw attempts per game. He gets a plus matchup against the Minnesota Wolves, who rank as a below average team in terms of points allowed (21.2) per game to opposing small forwards. Gallinari is averaging 17.0 points in only 28.2 minutes per game against Minnesota this season. He also shot only 34.6% from the field, including 23.1% from beyond the arc in those games. Gallinari should find more efficiency tonight, allowing him to hit the over. Dario Saric has been playing extended minutes with Taj Gibson injured, and that’s expected to be the case once again tonight. HE’s averaging 5.6 rebounds in only 23.3 minutes per game over his last 12 games, and he’s expected to play minutes in the high-20s tonight. The Los Angeles Clippers will be looking to push the pace, and Saric is an athletic big, who can benefit from that. He played 33.3 minutes in his only matchup against Los Angeles, posting eight rebounds. He could find similar success if he’s given the minutes tonight.

Play $50 on Danilo Gallinari OVER 20.5 points and Dario Saric OVER 6.5 rebounds to win $130.50 (2.61x)
