Power Play

Derrick Rose has caught fire recently. He’s averaging 22.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 5.3 assists (32.8 fantasy points) in 29.5 minutes per game over the last 10 days. While those numbers aren’t overly impressive, Rose has scored 35+ fantasy points in 3 of his last 4 games. He saw 19+ shot attempts in each of those 3 games, as well. Rose gets a plus matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans, who play at one of the fastest paces in the NBA, while struggling defensively. In their only matchup, Rose scored 31.9 fantasy points in 28 minutes against the Pelicans. He should see a massive role in the offense tonight, and he’s playing at the highest level of his season at the moment.

Tobias Harris has struggled a bit recently. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 19.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists (32.5 fantasy points) in 33.1 minutes per game. Harris has scored fewer than 36 fantasy points in 11 of his last 13 games, including each of his last 6. Harris’ total is set a bit high because of the injury to Joel Embiid, but Harris’ recent struggles have kept him from producing at a high level. He also gets a tough matchup against the Indiana Pacers, who rank 23rd in the NBA in pace and 10th in defensive rating. Harris recently scored 14.4 fantasy points against Indiana, although he only played 23 minutes in that game. In his other full game against the Pacers, he needed 36 minutes to score 30.8 fantasy points. While Harris will see a larger role in the offense with Embiid injured, his ceiling is limited by this matchup.

Play 1 unit on Derrick Rose OVER 35.0 fantasy points and Tobias Harris UNDER 36.0 fantasy points to win 2.5 units (2.5x)
