Power Play

Devin Booker is coming off of a bad game, but he has still found plenty of success recently. He’s averaging 29.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 1.0 steal (43.6 fantasy points) in 37.6 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Booker has scored 42+ fantasy points in 5 of his last 8 games, although he missed the threshold by less than 1 fantasy point in 2 of those games. He gets an elite matchup against the Atlanta Hawks. They rank eighth in the NBA in pace and 26th in defensive rating. Booker saw only 32 minutes in his only matchup against Atlanta this season, scoring 38.9 fantasy points. He’s expected to find minutes in the high-30s tonight. Booker is playing at a high level, and he should continue to find success in this matchup.

James Harden is always an elite play without Russell Westbrook. He has played in a total of four games without Westbrook this season. In those games, he’s averaging 43.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.0 block (64.8 fantasy points) in 38.4 minutes per game. Harden is expected to see a usage rating north of 40% tonight. He gets an elite matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies, who rank third in the NBA in pace and 22nd in defensive rating. In his only matchup against Memphis, Harden scored 44 points with 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. He’s the focal point of the offense, and should see plenty of opportunities tonight. Harden’s total isn’t low, but he’s an elite option on this slate.
