Power Play

Nikola Vucevic has been playing at an elite level. He’s averaging 21.0 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.0 steal (43.8 fantasy points) in 32.3 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Vucevic has scored 42+ fantasy points in 3 of his last 5 games, scoring 41.7 fantasy points in one of his unders. He gets an outstanding matchup against the Brooklyn Nets tonight. They currently rank 10th in the NBA in pace and 14th in defensive rating. Vucevic has quietly flashed triple-double potential recently, and it’s clear he’s the new focal point of the offense. He’ll see extra opportunities for peripheral stats in this matchup, and he will continue his success tonight.

Rudy Gobert is another elite big on this slate. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 13.2 points, 14.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.6 blocks (37.5 fantasy points) in 35.1 minutes per game. That doesn’t tell the entire story, though. If we expand those games from 5 to 10, he’s averaging 42.1 fantasy points per game. Most importantly, Gobert gets an elite matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans. They rank seventh in the NBA in pace and 26th in defensive rating. New Orleans has struggled against centers throughout the season. Gobert missed the Utah Jazz’s only game against the Pelicans this season, but Tony Bradley needed only 21.5 minutes to post 14 points, 9 rebounds, and 1 block. Gobert will see 30+ minutes tonight, and he’s a near lock for a double-double. He also comes with elite blocking potential, making this total a bit low for his recent production.

Play 1 unit on Nikola Vucevic OVER 42.0 fantasy points and Rudy Gobert OVER 42.0 fantasy points to win 2.5 units (2.5x)
