Bobby’s Ball-In GPP Breakdown (3/27/18)

Bet on Sports-Join MyBookie.ag today!

As NBA is a game where last-minute real-life changes are made before tipoff, always monitor breaking news up to last second!

The plays below in this daily article are low owned pivots and GPP plays.  This means that these players will be RELATIVELY low owned and ‘contrarian’ relative to the more highly owned, chalky plays of the night.  Remember you can access the more “safe”/”cash” plays by visiting ackarmasports.com > NBA > NBA Premium Articles. I would recommend taking a few of Bens players to build a “core lineup” around and then sprinkle in a few players from my article.  THIS IS HOW YOU WIN TOURNAMENTS!!!!
BALL IN!
Point Guard
Top GPP Play: Rajon Rondo – Rondo has always flashed his upside and we know what he is capable of.  The floor is there and we need to keep an eye on Rondo’s questionable tag but he makes for an awesome GPP play in this spot at single digit ownership due to the other studs we can pay up for Lillard/Paul/Bledsoe.
FADE: Quin Cook – Let’s temper expectations here.  Cook’s price is now up to 6k and he’s sure to see some decent ownership tonight.  I’m not really seeing the 40 point ceiling we’d need from him here and think he has a much higher “bust” probability that people are implying with projected ownership.
 Shooting Guard
Top GPP Play: Nick Young – A perfect way to hedge off Quin Cook ownership tonight is to be over-exposed to Nick Young who could actually hit 8x in this matchup with the Pacers where DFS Karma projects him for over 35 minutes.
FADE: DeMar DeRozan – With the way the Raptors bench is playing they have really not had to lean on DeRozan for much scoring of late and are still winning/competing in games.  DeRozan needs to do a ton to make it worth his 8k price tag and there are much better options out on the market today. Fade.
Small Forward
Top GPP Play: Joe Johnson- Don’t overthink this position tonight. LOCKKKK in Gerald Green.  You might be able to get Tucker/Johnson at low ownership since people don’t like pairing teammates at the same position.
Fade: Wilson Chandler – Chandler has been on quite the run lately bringing his price up to the 5.6k range on Fanduel.  I’m not believing it and expect him to regress back to his mid-season form considering how low his usage rate is on this team.  I won’t have any Wilson Chandler tonight again.
Power Forward
Top GPP Play: Dirk Nowitzki – The Kings get exposed by big men and Dirk still has some ceiling left in him this late in his career.  He’s still averaging .98 FP/M and if he can get the 25 minutes DFS Karma projects for him tonight he’ll have plenty of upside in such an exploitable matchup.
Fade: Anthony Davis – This is a pace down matchup for Davis and his price is pretty ridiculous at 12.5k on Fanduel.  I’m going with a more balanced approach to my lineups today so you won’t see me locking in any of the guys like Davis/LeBron.
Center
Top GPP Play: Paul Gasol –  Another player towards the end of his career I’m interested in rostering tonight is Pau Gasol.  Over the past month, Gasol is averaging 1.28 FP/M and has legitimate 40 fantasy point upside if he gets decent minutes.  That’s something that should be volatile this late in the season but something we can take advantage of in GPP’s.
Fade: Jonas Valanciunas – He’s only going to see 20-25 minutes tonight.  Can he just get to value if he has an extremely efficient game? Yes.  Is that likely? No.  Fade!!!
