Guards

Marcus Zegarwoski (Creighton) vs. Seton Hall

Zegarowski has played huge minutes over the last two games, averaging 37 minutes in each of those games. I expect him to receive another big workload tonight in a favorable matchup vs. Seton Hall.  He only has a 22% usage rate, but that is something that continues to rise with each game.  I like the fact that he has the ball a ton, and is starting to hit his shots at a higher %.  He has had double digit shot attempts in each of his last two games, and something we should continue to see.  He is priced below 7k, and has a very solid/safe floor of 4x.  He has shown the ability to reach 5x and even 6x that price a few times this year.

David Duke (Providence) vs. Marquette

Duke has an insane 29% usage rate, and is the “do it all” guard for this Providence team. He is averaging 19.1 ppg, 5.3 apg and 5.4 rpg.  He has also had very good recent success vs. this Marquette team.  In their last meeting Duke scored 17 points, had 9 assist and 3 rebounds, good for 37 DK points. He also played 40 mpg, which should be no surprise because on the season he is averaging 38.4 mpg.  He rarely comes off the court.  He is averaging 17 FGA per game and has a 28% shot rate.  If you have the salary for him, he is a really strong play.

Others to consider:  C. Moore (DEP); J. Rhoden (SH); M. Jones (PSU); D. Carton (MARQ); K. McEwen (MARQ); C. Walker (OHST); D. Sills (ARK); J. Freeman-Liberty (DEP); J. Bamislle (VT); D. Maddox (VT)

Forwards

Julian Champagnie (St. Johns) vs. Depaul

Champagnie is a guy that has a 28% usage rate, rebounds the ball really well, and can score at all three levels.  He is averaging 19 points and 7 rebounds per game.  Depaul is not a very good defensive team, and allow teams to shoot at a high %. Champagnie’s value is higher than most because not only can he score and rebound, he is able to add up blocked shots and steals.  He is averaging nearly 2 blocked shots and 2 steals per game.  There are 3 guys that are in the upper tier of salary tonight that I have interest in (Mamu, Duke and Champagnie), so I will have to make a decision as to who will be priority.  Champagnie is a phenomenal option in this track meet vs. DePaul and could very easily end up being the highest scoring player on the slate.

Sandro Mamukelashvili (Seton Hall) vs. Creighton

Anytime we have Mamu on a slate, I have to seriously consider him for my main lineup.  Mamu has a very nice 28% usage rate, along with a 29% shot rate.  He rarely comes off of the floor, playing nearly 34 minutes per game.  He had a decent performance vs. Creighton last game with a 14 point/ 2 assist/5 rebound performance, good for 30 DK points.  That is a floor game for Mamu, and I expect him to be a little more active in the game plan vs. Creighton tonight. As of now, Mamu is probably 3rd out of the top three for me tonight, but I can assure you I will have some Mamu exposure tonight, because we have seen that he can break a slate with his 50+ point ceiling.

Others to consider:  N. Watson (PROV); EJ Liddell (OHST); R. Weems (DEP); K. Aluma (VT); D. Hall (DEP); J. Smith (ARK); J. Lewis (MARQ); D. Garcia (MARQ); J. Mutts (VT)
