Guards

Ron Harper Jr. (Rutgers) vs. Michigan State

This game between Michigan State and Rutgers has the second highest implied total on the slate; a game total of 150.  Michigan State will push the pace here, presenting an environment that Harper should thrive in.  Harper leads this Rutgers team with a 27% usage rate and 22 points per game.  He is the second highest priced player on this slate, but in a game that should have a nice tempo to it, he sets up to be a very nice play tonight with a safe floor with room for upside.

Tre Mann (Florida) vs. Alabama

The highest total tonight belongs to the Alabama/Florida game. The game total on this game is set at 153.  Both teams here like to play fast, and both are pretty good when it comes to defensive efficiency.  Tre Mann has taken on a bigger role with the loss of Johnson and has played really well over the last few games.  He is playing over 32 minutes per game over the last three games  and is averaging 15 points per game over that same span.  I love targeting this game tonight, and Mann along with Scottie Lewis are my favorite Gators tonight.

Isaiah Wong (Miami) vs. UNC

It is no secret that UNC has really struggled guarding the perimeter and opposing teams backcourt.  Wong comes into this matchup as Miami’s leading scorer, scoring 18 points per game.  He is also second on the team in usage, with a usage rate of 24%.  I expect this game to be a little faster paced than expected.  He is shooting a little over 30% from deep, so should have a good opportunity to knock down some 3’s.  Kameron McGusty is someone that I really like targeting from Miami and is priced to cheap here.  He is playing over 25 minutes per game and averaging over 10 points per game.  Playing against the weaker UNC defense should allow him plenty of opportunities to produce.

Others to consider: J. Bouknight (UCONN); G. Baker(RUT); J. Petty (ALA); H. Jones (ALA); DJ Carton (MARQ); M. Miles (TCU); M. Smith (MIZZ); A. Hoggard (MSU); K. Walton (UNC)

Forwards

Aaron Henry (Michigan State) vs. Rutgers

Henry is the leader in both usage rate and scoring for Michigan State, with a usage rate of 27% and scoring average of 13.5 points.  This will be a fast paced game, and a game that Henry should find not only plenty of scoring opportunities in, but he should also find opportunities to create some turnovers.  He is averaging almost 2 steals per game.  He is someone that comes with a very good ceiling in this matchup.

Garrison Brooks (UNC) vs. Miami

Brooks continues to be priced to low. I am not sure why UNC is playing the style of ball they are playing this year, but if they want to be successful they need to feed Brooks, Bacot and Sharpe all game, every game.  If Brooks is not getting up at least 14+ FGA per game, they will struggle to win.  This is a game that Brooks should find plenty of room to produce on the block.  He is really good with his back to the basket, has a nice mid range game and can rebound and block shots.  One of these days we are going to get a game where UNC figures it out and feeds Brooks and he goes off for a 20/10 game.  He comes with a solid floor and an extremely high upside.

Jalen Wilson (Kansas) vs. TCU

Wilson has been one of the top players for this Kansas team so far this year, and now finds himself in a soft matchup vs. TCU.  He leads the Jayhawks in scoring and rebounding, averaging 15 ppg and 8 rpg.  He is also second on the team in usage, with a usage rate of 25%.  There is a chance that Marcus Garrett misses this game tonight, opening up more opportunities for Wilson and Agbaji.  This is news we need to keep an eye on, because if Garrett is ruled out Dajuan Harris comes into play.

Others to consider:  DJ Funderburk (NCST); A. Simms (CLEM); D. Sharpe (UNC); D. Garcia (MARQ); C. Castleton (FLA); A. Duruji (FLA); M. Johnson (RUT); T. Smith (MSU); K. Samuel (TCU)
