Joey’s Monkey Knife Fight Plays May 25th

Welcome back DFS grinders to another addition of my Monkey Knife Fight Plays article. We have a great game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals in Toronto. I doubt Toronto wants to take the chance at a game 7 Milwaukee so they are going to leave it all out on the line tonight.

ARTICLE RECAP: PERFECT

Kawhi Leonard scoring prop: It was set at 28.5 points and he blew past that totaling 35 points

Brook Lopez Blocks and Steals prop: It was set at 2.5 B/S and he only got 1 steal which was in the opening minutes of the game.

Favorite Plays

Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 5.5 assists:  This has been my favorite Giannis prop this series. His prop is consistently one assist too low every game because the Bucks just haven’t been hitting the open shots after Giannis passes, but he still continues to feed them. He is averaging 13.4 potential assists during the Conference Finals which is behind only Draymond Green (18.8) and Damian Lillard (14.0). Potential assists are an amazing metric to look at because we can see where variance will be heading for future contests. Giannis is only averaging 5.8 assists which is a rate of 41.8% we can compare that number to other high assist guys: Green 46.8%, Lillard 60.7%, Lowry 41.8%. As you can see Giannis is towards the bottom of this list tied with Lowry. If Giannis was at Green’s rate he would average 6.2 assists and at Lillard’s rate he would be averaging 8.1 assists. If that’s not enough to get him over the top Giannis is averaging a 27.3% assists %. Assist % is the number of assists a player has divided by the number of FGs made by their teammates while on the floor. He has never gone under 5 assists this series and both those games he only saw 34 minutes on the floor which are both series lows due to either a blowout win or a blowout loss.

Brook Lopez UNDER 2.5 Blocks and Steals: I’m adding this back again because it has been a pretty easy prop that MKF just doesn’t adjust. Lopez just hasn’t been getting the block opportunities to get over this mark which again means he needs to play amazing or just get a lucky double block possession to go over. Lopez may be one of the best shot blockers in the league but this matchup just does not favor him at all.
