Las Vegas Aces @ New York Liberty (+9)

Liz Cambage is someone who interests me at 10.1K on DK. Before these two blowout games, Cambage was able to play 32 minutes against the Mercury. This makes me believe her minute limit could be over and she is full go to dominate the league again. Which we just saw evidence of the last game where she had 35 minutes in a loss to the Sun. Now she gets a smash spot against the Liberty who give up one of the most points per game to bigs this season. They just don’t have the size to compete with Cambage tonight.

Sabrina Ionescu Has had her ups and downs all season mainly due to some teams double-teaming her and some teams letting her beat them. Ionescu is not someone I feel safe paying up for in cash but her ceiling is the highest on the slate with her ability to stuff the stat sheet. She is a fade for me in cash but the perfect ceiling GPP play on the slate.

New York Bigs: These three players on the Liberty will have their work cut out for them, going up against two of the best bigs in the league. Then having to deal with Hamby off the bench. Last game Kiah Stokes saw the most minutes of these three followed by Kylee Shook and Rebecca Allen. Safe to say Allen finds herself as the odd woman out in this picture. Shook didn’t even play in OT, which means we could potentially even see Stokes slide into the starting lineup tonight. Only time will tell. If Stokes is in the starting lineup expect her to be chalk. I hope she doesn’t start because I love her tonight if she is low owned.

Chicago Sky @ Phoenix Mercury (-1.5)

We have a rematch of a game ago but there will be some key players for the Sky returning tonight. Allie Quigley and Stefanie Dolson will be returning to the lineup tonight for the Sky. This is huge for the team in terms of depth. The Sky only ran 7 players last game and now will be going 9 deep. This means decreased minutes and potentially shot attempts for a lot of these players.

I want to see who is in the starting lineup for the Sky but I assume Quigley will stay on the bench as she did in game one then Dolson should be starting for Ndour but we won’t know until closer to game time what the verdict is. Dolson is way too cheap on both sites if she is in the starting lineup and will most likely but extreme chalk tonight. This is chalk I want to eat. Then I will probably be fading the guards for the Sky outside of Vandersloot as a pay up option. Shot volume should end up decreasing for DeShields and Copper tonight as Quig steals minutes from them. During the first game of the season no player saw more than 30 minutes, which is something we may see tonight again.

On the other side of the ball, nothing has changed for the Mercury. SDS is coming off a huge game but should come back down to Earth as she saw extreme usage bump up to 34% with Griner getting into foul trouble and on the flip side Griner saw a decrease in usage rate down to 16%. Griner flopped as chalk and will see recency bias ownership tonight in just a good spot making her a great leverage play tonight.

Indiana Fever @ LA Sparks (-5.5)

The Sparks will be without the Ogwumike sisters tonight. This leaves the Sparks will only eight players tonight; six guards and two forwards. This makes Nia Coffey and Amanda Zahui B two of the best mid-priced players on the slate. They could both theoretically see 40 minutes tonight if they don’t get into foul trouble. The Fever are way too big not to have both on the court all game. If you are only playing one I prefer Zahui B but both players should be locked into 35+ minutes making them extremely valuable and tough to fade.

Erica Wheeler continues to dominate the usage rate for the Sparks. She is coming off a 34% usage game last game and look for that to continue as the Sparks will be without Nneka tonight. She is cheap enough to still be chalk so I am fine getting off her in GPPs but makes for a great cash play. The higher the usage rate generally the safer the floor.

The Fever are coming off two poorly played games against the Aces and then had to go and play the Storm. Not much they can do about their poor performance against two of the top 3 teams in the league. Although, we did still see relatively dominant performances McCowan. Almost having a double-double in every game. She was really the only consistent performer on that team during that stretch of games. Tonight she gets a fairly easy matchup due to the injuries for the Sparks. Zahui B may be worse defensively trying to avoid foul trouble because there is no one else on that team that comes within six inches of McCowan.
