Thoughts:

Loving this slate tonight! Let’s dive in.

Tonight’s slate is loaded with elite plays in the mid-range today. The decision points begin at the PG position.

Ja Morant is back from his injury and finally got a full complement of minutes in their last contest. He is one of the strongest plays on the slate. Pair Ja Morant with someone like Dejounte Murray or Demar Derozan makes a lot of sense! Morant’s teammate Xavier Tillman will be the highest owned player on the slate. The rookie will benefit from JoVal being OUT tonight. Lock him into your lineups and don’t look back.

I normally don’t play a lot of Lonzo Ball, but his price is difficult to get away from in this matchup. At 5k on DraftKings, Lonzo is a standout play. Lonzo can be paired with either John Wall or Victor Oladipo to maximize upside in this game! Lonzo’s teammates Zion Williamson and Steven Adams will clean up on the boards and be able to score around the rim on this Rockets interior defense. They aren’t as strong as Ball, but they are still great plays. Don’t forget about Brandon Ingram, his scoring upside always puts him in play.

Cody Zeller looks like he will be the chalk again tonight. Last night Zeller dealt with foul trouble and still got to 26 minutes played. Looks like 30 minute Zeller will be his normal minute output. He is a good large field GPP fade. Zeller’s teammate Hayward has had back to back subpar performances, this will keep his ownership down. If Hayward is low owned tonight, I want to have some shares. If you think this game is close and high scoring, the Hornets don’t have anyone who can slow down Giannis Antetokounmpo. Greek is my preferred spend up target on today’s slate.

Jerami Grant is looking the Most Improved Player square in the face. Grant has shown his ability to rack up fantasy points in multiple ways. Guys who fill up the stat sheet are always great cash targets. Grant is in play in all formats tonight!

Chris Paul has been asked to take on a larger scoring role with Devin Booker sidelined. Paul runs into a solid matchup with the Mavericks, and his price tag hasn’t risen enough for this expanded role.

One game I want to touch on is the Portland/Chicago game. I think this is a great game to get contrarian with tonight. Damien Lillard and Zach Lavine could go back and forth at each other here and rack up a ton of fantasy points. I love playing these two together.
