Top GPP Play Of The Day
Ingram is coming off three rough performances where he did not hit value, averaging 34.17 DK points per game at $8500. He now gets a price bump up to $9100. This should keep his ownership relatively down for a two-game slate. When Lonzo is inactive, Ingram averaged 34.17 DK points, 36.2 minutes, 21.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 4.3 turnovers per game. This while seeing the same usage rate with him on or off the court at 29%. When Lonzo is active these numbers change drastically. Ingram is averaging, 44.72 DK points per game, 24.0 PPG, 7.1 RPG, 5.8 APG, and 2.7 TPG. These splits warrant the rise in price but people may not pick up on that and fade him tonight.
Ingram’s matchup isn’t sexy but isn’t bad enough to want to fade him. Sometimes a nice middle of the pack matchup is nice to keep the ownership down, but still have a path to a ceiling game. The Jazz are bottom 10 in pace and top 10 in defensive efficiency. We know the Jazz to be a slow-paced defensive team but they have different positions where they filter their points through. You want to avoid playing PFs and PGs against them. They get exposure mainly on the wings and in the paint. This is weird because they have Gobert anchoring their defense. If Joe Ingles is out again for the Jazz this will also help Ingram. The Jazz allows 11 more points per game with Ingles inactive as well as giving up a 5% higher field goal %.
