Philadelphia 76ers (Back End of B2B)

Joel Embiid – Monitor for rest

Embiid is the big news for the sixers. This is Embiid’s first healthy B2B of the season. The Sixers starters played big minutes last night. My lean is that Embiid will play though.

Brooklyn Nets (Front End of B2B)

Kevin Durant – O

Rodions Kurucs – Q

Kevin Durant will miss today’s game once again. Kyrie Irving was lights out in the first quarter for the Nets in their last contest versus the Jazz. The nets shook up their starting lineup to be more defensive-minded.  Bruce Brown is an interesting value play on today’s slate. Jarrett Allen stepped into the starting lineup and Deandre Jordan got into foul trouble so he smashed. I like Allen less today at this price than I did versus the Jazz.

Cleveland Cavaliers (Back End of B2B)

Collin Sexton – Monitor for rest

Darius Garland – O

Cleveland is so banged up right now. Drummond and Sexton are the rest candidates today. Sexton is more likely to sit than Drummond. If Sexton sat, we would see Lamar Stevens and Isaac Okoro take on larger roles.

Dallas Mavericks

Trey Burke – O

Burke being out opens the door for Brunson to play minutes into the 20’s. This team runs through Luka and he is off of the injury report.

Denver Nuggets

Michael Porter Jr. – Q

MPJ is expected to return today for the Nuggets. Not sure if he is going to be limited at all. Milsap and Green are off of the table with MPJ returning. Nikola Jokic and Jamall Murray are the appealing targets today for the Nuggets.

San Antonio Spurs

Nothing new with the Spurs. They are still running at a wild pace and playing pretty poor defense.

Los Angeles Lakers (Front End of B2B)

LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope – Q

I think Anthony Davis is likely to sit today. Davis sat the front end of the Lakers first B2B earlier this season. With so many great 10 pm games and this news to monitor, I think it’s a good idea to leave yourself flexibility. If Lebron plays, he will be an interesting low owned target with Luka and Jokic being the priority spends.

Minnesota Timberwolves

Josh Okogie – O

I was all over Hernangomez against the Nuggets, today he got a price increase and will be very chalky. I think he is a good avoid in tournaments. The minutes in the frontcourt are ugly. They are rolling with a hot hand approach and are extremely difficult to predict on a night to night basis.

Portland Trail Blazers

Fully healthy Blazers squad. The wing minutes are volatile. This team’s usage runs through the backcourt. Nurkic is still underpriced on DraftKings tonight.
