Hello everybody, and welcome back to another DFS Karma Game Theory article by yours truly! Today there are a couple things to monitor regarding injuries and COVID-19 protocols, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. For injury news, please make sure to check our injury article. Go peep my NBA DFS First Impression Video and see my thoughts on the slate as an introduction to the slate! After that, come back to this article to make sense of the news and look at couple of ways to start building for this slate. This is a nicely sized slate with a good bit of injury news, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled throughout the day for updated news.

On both sites, I would start by locking in De’Aaron Fox. He is in a smash spot, Cory Joseph was traded as well, not that it’ll effect his already hefty playing time at all but he should see the ball in his hands a little more and maybe a couple extra minutes. I think he’s going to be an essential part of my builds tonight because he presents the highest upside at his price range and the only other guards I can see reaching that 50+ threshold is Russell Westbrook who is nearly 2k more, and Damian Lillard, who has taken a pretty big usage hit with CJ McCollum back in the lineup. I will have Fox in all formats.

Another guy who I want a lot of exposure to tonight is Bam Adebayo. I’m going to lock Bam regardless of Butler’s status (questionable with illness right now) and I think that he is just too cheap vs a Portland team who struggles guarding 4s and Centers. If Butler is out, he’s going to be a must play in all formats.

Another team I will be eyeing is the Golden State Warriors- I usually think only one of Oubre or Wiggins goes off, but I like both today, and Poole along with the facilitator Draymond Green. This is going to be a fast paced game and I want all the pieces here. This should be a good up and down game.

There are many ways to go for this slate with still news awaiting for us, so make sure to monitor throughout the day to make sure you don’t miss out on anything important! Below is a list of my player pool as of now: (Aside from chart above)

  • B. Simmons
  • J. Poole
  • D. Schroder
  • D. Murray
  • I. Quickley
  • A. Burks
  • P. George
  • T. Herro (if Butler out)
  • H. Barnes
  • R. Hachimura
  • J. Wiseman
