  • Merry Christmas! I hope that you guys spend the day either spending it safely with family or at home with your loved ones. It’s been a crazy year. We’ve all fought our own battles. We’ve all laughed, cried and loved, but most importantly, we learned this year. I went into 2020 with the mindset of I’m going to get everything I want this year. Now, with a week left of it, I’m grateful for what I have. Enough of the wishy washy emotional stuff, you guys are here for the content, so let’s get right into this 5 game Christmas slate. Let’s make a Christmas Miracle happen!
  • Christmas slates are the best. Cash lines have varied, some years it is super high, others it is rather low. I’m thinking this year will have a high cash line, there are a ton of great games and there isn’t a game that screams “automatic fade” in comparison to the other games on deck. The only game that I think I will probably be less exposed to in comparison to the others is the GS/MIL game. MIL is the highest favorite on the slate at -10.5. GS showed no fight vs the Nets and yes, it was one game, but there has to be a huge improvement if they want to stay in the game. This could turn into an ugly blowout, and quickly.
  • I’m going to make my player pool short and concise for this slate. I will try to get “cute” but I think I’m gonna just straight up focus on my player pool of solid plays here and not try to go too out of the box. My main focus will be on this BOS/BKN game. I think there are a ton of plays that will make my lineup from these two eastern conference playoff teams. I will be leaning on Jeff Teague/Jaylen Brown/Jayson Tatum for the Boston side. Teague played only 25 minutes which is a little concerning because I’d like to see him touch the 28-30 minute mark but on DK he is a lock at that price. On FanDuel, I think he is one of the best PG value plays. I like that he took 15 shots but I didn’t like that he only played 25 minutes. In terms of Brown and Tatum, this is their team right now. For them to beat the Nets, expect BIG games from this young duo. I like Brown’s price but Tatum’s is nearing that 10k point which I can see him being unable to provide the 6x ceiling like we need to take down a tournament. However, if he outscores Giannis/Anthony Davis, your lineup will automatically have an edge. On the Brooklyn side, I like Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and Joe Harris. Harris is cheap enough where 20-25 will be a solid game for him. For Durant and Irving, I like both their prices and although this Boston defense is bound to throw some interesting looks at them, I think this duo should have a safe floor and good upside. However, if I had to choose one, I would go Durant>Kyrie.
  • *Watch out for Jimmy Butler news. If we get news he is out, Goran Dragic, Tyler Herro, and Bam Adebayo will all be forced into my lineup.
  • My core pieces for a lineup tomorrow include Teague, Durant, and Brown.
  • Now, I will go over my full player pool for tomorrow’s Christmas slate.
  • Guys who I will also have exposure to today, other than the ones listed above in no particular order (PLAYER POOL)

  • Steph Curry
  • Jrue Holiday
  • Khris Middleton
  • Dennis Schroder
  • Donte Divencenzo
  • Luka Doncic
  • Nicolas Batum
  • Will Barton
  • Michael Porter Jr.
  • Nikola Jokic
  • Tyler Herro
  • Bam Adebayo
  • Goran Dragic
  • Zion Williamson
  • Paul Millsap
  • Montrezl Harrell
  • Anthony Davis
