Purdue -1.5 at Ohio State

Purdue comes into Columbus on a hot streak winning 6 of its last 7 games. They are lead by one of the Big Tens best players in Carson Edwards who is averaging 24.6 points per game.  Ohio State has been struggling bad and has lost its past 4 games after starting out the season 12-1. However they are 8-3 at home this season. A big cause for the down-slide has been their offense scoring only averaging 65.25 points in the last 4 games, after averaging 78 points per game in their first 13 games. Ohio State is holding opponents to 64.8 ppg this season. Purdue has lost 4 of its last 5 road games shooting just 38.6% from the field and losing by an average of 7.6 ppg. Purdue is 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings with the Buckeyes. The underdog is 6-0 in the last 6 games of this series. The key for Ohio State tonight will be to slow down the blazing Carson Edwards and to get things going again the the offensive side of the ball. This is a huge game for the Buckeyes in order to save the season and pick up a quality win. Ohio State is 6-0 ATS following a double digit home loss. Tonight we will be siding with the short home underdog as they look to get back on stride and save the season.

Denver Nuggets at Utah Jazz

The Denver Nuggets are in Salt Lake City tonight to face the Jazz. The Nuggets come in having won 10 of their last 13 games. Utah has been hot as of late as well winning 8 of their last 10 games. Utah plays their best ball at home winning 7 of their last 10 home games. The Jazz are allowing opposing teams to score just 106.6 points per game vs them at home this season. Denver is one of the better teams in the NBA, but has had issues playing on the road as of late, losing 6 of their last 9 games. The Nuggets have averaged 121.4 ppg at home in the past 5, while only averaging 109.6 in their past 5 road games. The under is 6-2 in Utah’s last 8 games, it opened at 217.5 and has dropped down to 216.
