3 Philadelphia 76ers at 2 Toronto Raptors -6.5

The 76ers travel up to Toronto tonight for the 1st game of their 2nd round match up vs the Raptors. Toronto won the season series 3-1 this year as they won each by an average of 13.3 points. They lead each game by 10+ at halftime. Toronto lost their first game to Orlando in round 1, but then won the next 4 straight holding the Magic under 100 points for the series. Kawhi Leonard leads the team with 27.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game. Pascal Siakam is also averaging over 20 ppg, with 22.6 points adding in 8.4 rebounds as well. Toronto has struggled offensively during the playoffs only scoring 106.4 ppg compared to the 114 they averaged through the season.

Philadelphia comes in off a 4-1 series win over Brooklyn. They averaged 122.4 points during the series which was 2nd highest in the playoffs. They did so only converting 33.6% of shots behind the arc which ranked last. The 76ers have showed that they have the fire power and talent to match up with anyone in the league. Joel Embiid was limited in the first round playing in 4 of the 5 games averaging only 24 minutes a game. Although he was dominate when he was on the court averaging 24.7 points and 13.5 rebounds. He is a full go heading into game 1 tonight and should dominate the paint once again vs Gasol and Ibaka. If the 76ers can get going from long range and improve their it will open up the paint even more for Embiid. Tobias Harris is coming in off averaging 17.6 points and 9 rebounds in round 1 and Ben Simmons averaged 17.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 7.6 assists in his first round match up. This should be a great close series all the way though and could push for 7 games. 6.5 points is way too many points to give this talented loaded 76ers team especially with Toronto’s game 1 struggles it has always seem to have.

76ers are 4-0 ATS L4 games

Raptors are 2-14 SU in Game 1s
