3 Texas Tech vs 2 Michigan State -2.5

We are in Minneaplois, Minnesota tonight for the Final Four! Tonight the Red Raiders are facing off against the Spartans in the 2nd matchup. Texas Tech has been dominate through its first 4 games in March Madness, covering in all 4 games. They held the nations top offense to just 69 points in their last game, and blew out Michigan in the Sweet 16 by the score of 63-44. This will mark Texas Tech’s first ever trip to the Final Four. The Red Raiders have possessed the Nations best defense this season with the best defensive efficiency rating. They are only allowing 59 points scored per game, and they are #1 in opponent floor %. The Red Raiders are lead by guard Jarrett Culver who is averaging 18.9 ppg, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. Tom Izzo enters his 8th Final Four and the Spartans  are looking for their first Championship since 2000. They were runner up in 2009 and last made the Final Four in 2015. Michigan State needs to protect the ball tonight vs the Red Raiders as they have had troubles with that this season turning the ball over on 18.5% of its possessions ranking 147th in the nation. Texas Tech plays a slow down type of offense as they look to hold the ball for around 19 seconds per possession. Nick Ward hit the big 3 for Sparty last game vs Duke and must get it going down low here. Cassius Winston has been Michigan State’s leader this year. He is averaging 18.9 ppg and 7.6 assists per game. He put up 20 points and 10 assists last game vs Duke. Michigan State is a well rounded team having 4 players average 10+ ppg and another with 9.8 ppg. Michigan State has also been playing very good defense in the tournament holding every team under 70 points. 50,63,67 are the point totals given up in the last 3 games. This should be a very close slow played match up here with great defense being played. We will be backing the Under 132 in tonight’s game.

The Under is 5-1 L6 games for Michigan State.

The Under is 3-1 L4 games for Texas Tech
