Kyle Korver/LeBron James/Larry Nance Jr.
The Cleveland Cavaliers and Phoenix Suns will be featured in an above average paced game tonight. These two teams rank 14th and third in the NBA in pace, respectively. Phoenix also ranks last in the league in defensive rating, while Cleveland ranks fifth in offensive rating. It is an elite matchup for Cleveland, and they are a -7 point favorite in a game set at 230 points. They feature the highest implied team total on the slate at 118.5 points.
LeBron James has been the focal point of the Cavs team for quite some time, as he features a usage rating well over 30%. He has also scored 53+ DK points in more than 10 consecutive games. Furthermore, he is averaging 29.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists, and 1.3 steals per game over the last 10 days. Larry Nance Jr. has seen his role increase over his last four games because of an injury to Tristan Thompson. In those games, he is averaging 38.4 DK points in 31.3 minutes per game. He is a double double threat on a nightly basis, and he is averaging 1.29 DK points per minute against the Suns this season. Kyle Korver is the final part of the stack, and he is a cheap, consistent option. He has played 20+ minutes in each of his last four games, scoring 20+ DK points in three of those games. He isn’t an elite fantasy option, but he does not need many fantasy points to hit value. His price tag will ease what you have to pay for James and Nance, who bring more upside to the lineup tonight.
Rajon Rondo/Jrue Holiday/Anthony Davis
This New Orleans Pelicans and Charlotte Hornets will also be featured in a fast paced game, as they rank second and 10th in the NBA in pace thus far. New Orleans currently ranks in the top-10 of the NBA in offensive rating, while Charlotte has a below average defense. The Pelicans are -4.5 point favorites in a game set at 230 points, giving them an implied team total of 117.3 points.
Anthony Davis is another player with a usage rating around 30%. He has been playing on an elite level since the All Star Break, as he is averaging 65.8 DK points per game. That average is slightly low, as well, as he was recently injured in a game and only played limited minutes. Over the last 10 days, Davis is averaging 1.77 DK points per minute. He is an unbelievable player, and it is going to be difficult to avoid him at all tonight. Jrue Holiday is another player that has been on fire recently, as he is averaging 18.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 8.8 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 1.2 steals in 33.6 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He has scored 45+ DK points in four of his last five games, including a 57 DK point performance against the Los Angeles Clippers. Rajon Rondo is the final part of the stack, although he struggled a bit in his last three games. He saw his minutes drop in two of those games, but they are expected to sit in the high-20s tonight. Rondo is averaging 1.03 DK points per game over the last 10 days, and he is another high upside option for New Orleans. They are an extremely stack, but there is not another stack that comes with as much upside on this slate.
