Slate Thoughts:

  • This slate has one sure fire lock on it, and that is TES.  TES are heavy favorites tonight vs.. LNG, and definitely will be the highest owned stack on the night, but for good reason.  This will be a 2-0 sweep, but I still expect TES to be fantasy friendly.  I expect high kill totals from Knight and Jackeylove.  I would prioritize placing one of them in my captain spot in tournaments.  You will need to stack an underdog with them to make it fit, but I still really like the upside for TES in this match-up.  TES lead the LPL in Kills per game with nearly 18.
  • After TES there really are no heavy favorites, instead there are a lot of really close match-ups that lead us to having to make tough decisions.  Estar/VG is is the first match I will discuss.  Estar are priced right up there with TES.  They are not a bad squad, but I find that it may be tough for them to pay off their prices in what could end up a paced down match-up, as VG rank in the bottom tier of the LPL in pace.  With that said I will take my shots on them in tournaments.  ES lead VG in gold per minute, kills per win and DRA%, and I feel that Wei and Wink have clear advantages.  It will be a close match, I don’t see this being a sweep.  ES 2-1
  • GenG will be my next target tonight.  GenG have played extremely well this split only dropping a series to DRX.  They have been more aggressive this split and have increased the pace in their match-ups.  T1 on the other hand have not looked bad vs bottom feeders, but they have dropped both series they’ve had vs. some of LCK’s top teams in DRX and DWG.  GenG lead T1 in about all statistical categories such as DRA%, HER%, FB%, GD @ 15 minutes and Gold per minute.  Ill take the savings on GenG tonight, and look to pair them with TES in one of my main GPP’s.  ***Reminder, Life did not start last series, and we will not have starting lineups out before the slate locks, so I would fade the support position from GenG.
  • The last match-up I will touch on is SP vs KT.  Not much excites me about this match-up.  Both of these squads have looked pretty bad this split.  Both SP and Kt rank near the bottom of the LCK in GPM, Kills per game, DRA% and Gold differential @15 minutes.  I lean SP in this match-up just slightly, and would start my SP stack off with Hybrid and Secret. ***Mickey was subbed out last series and makes that spot questionable as to who will start.  I would fade the MID position in SP stacks, unless you are up at 3:30 am est. to see lineups confirmed.
