Slate Thoughts:

  • Finally, we have a slate that is bigger than two games!  First, I want to briefly touch on my top team of the night in T1.  T1 are HEAVY favorites tonight vs. SP.  SP average the most deaths per game in the LCK, so this gives T1 not only a great floor, but a high ceiling as well.  I love guys like Teddy and Canna tonight.  The MID position for T1 is a little iffy right now, with us not knowing who will get the nod, FAKER or Clozer.  For this reason, I will be fading that spot in T1 stacks.  T1 should be the first team you look to stack for cash builds tonight.
  • The next team I will look to target is V5.  They have been frustrating lately, switching around their ADC and are just as a team playing pretty poorly right now.  I do believe that RW are live dogs tonight, but RW die in bunches, and have been playing pretty poorly themselves over the last few series.  Im expecting V5 to bounce back here tonight and could rival T1 for the top scores on the slate.  This should be a blood bath, and if RW are able to pull of this upset, I don’t see a scenario where they are not the top scoring stack of the night.  If playing V5 I would target WeiWei, Mole and ppgod.  If rolling out a RW stack start with Haro and Zwuji.
  • Next we have an exciting match-up between GenG and DWG.  Expect this series to go to 3 games, and for it to be very very competitive.  DWG have a slight edge over GenG in most categories, and have one of, if not the best, MID’s in the world.  I expect Showmaker to have a big series tonight.   DWG project for the 3rd most kills on this slate, only behind T1 and V5.  If Gen G are able to win this series, which they are fully capable of doing, they should score pretty well.  I do not think that the winner of this series will outscore the winner of the V5/RW series, but the winner could definitely outscore T1.   If you are going to roll with DWG, make sure you start with Showmaker and then add in Nuguri and Canyon.  If you are going  with the underdog tonight, look at Bdd, Ruler and Rascal.
  • Good Luck tonight!
