Slate Thoughts:

  • Tonight brings us an exciting slate, 5 games of action.  The teams to build around in cash tonight is T1 or GenG.  Both of these teams are in very favorable match-ups that they should win very handily.  I think building around either one or playing both together makes for a very strong cash build.  T1 are still playing for placement in the tournament, and their opponent DYN still have a slim shot at making the tournament, but a loss will eliminate them.  T1 is a world class team and I see them dominating this match-up.  Since T1 made the change to Clozer from Faker, they have won 3 straight series by way of a sweep and look to be playing the best they have all split.  Teddy, Canna and Effort would be my top players from T1, and Ruler, Bdd and Rascal would be the players I would target from GenG.
  • Next, we have a team that might be the hottest team in the world right now.  IG have already assured their spot in the playoffs, but want to end the split on a high note.  Weirdly enough, they went back to southwind at SUP, after Baolan has really been playing well.  I do not know why they made this switch, but they have.  I still love IG tonight, and expect them to be the top scoring team at nights end.  Puff, Rookie and Ning make for great plays and I would even add in TheShy, he just has a really low floor.
  • Finally the last team I will look to get a few shares of, is RNG.  RNG are the most frustrating team in the LPL.  It seems like they get on stretches where they are dominating opponents, then they just out of nowhere drop a series to a team that had no business beating them.  Tonight they have RW, who are not playing their best right now.  I like RNG to win this series, and with the amount that RW die, this series sets up to be quite bloody.  If RNG takes care of business tonight, like they should, they will be one of the top scoring teams on the slate, probably right below IG.  Make sure you get a share of them tonight.  GALA, XLB and Xiaohu would be a great group to start with.
  • Good Luck tonight!
