We are excited to bring you our LOL DFS Game Theory article. This piece of content is created to help break down each slate and label our plays into four, very easy to follow, categories. These are: cash, safe GPP/upside, low owned GPP, and fades. Slate Thoughts:

This slate appears to be one where we could see multiple underdogs come out victorious.  The only team I see as a strong play in cash games today is Team Liquid.  They come in as -400 favorites vs. Golden Guardians.  Golden Guardians have struggled quite a bit this split, and now face a TL team that will not give them anything cheap.  TL are a very sound in their game play and should be able to control all aspects of this one.  I really like getting to them in cash games, but believe they have a lower ceiling than most others on this slate, leading me to stay away from them mostly in GPP’s.

In tournaments I would much rather target a few games that project to be much higher scoring.  Those games are C9/EG, FLY/IMT and CLG/DIG.  I think the winners of all three of these matches will produce some very strong fantasy results.  My top option from all of these teams for tournaments is EG.  EG are on FIRE right now, winning 7 straight matches, and now get a chance to prove their worth against one of the LCS best in C9.  C9, though usually the class of the LCS, have looked good at times this split, and completely lost at other times.  I think that EG keep the win streak going here, and on DK we get them at very nice price points.  EG is my top tournament play today, but would totally understand if you wanted to ride the other side of this match with C9.

Finally I would get some exposure to those other two matches mentioned above.  FLY/IMT and CLG/DIG.  I project the CLG game to be slightly more favorable, so I lean towards that one, but I really like FLY today as well.

My predictions for tonight are as follows:
TL win; FLY win, CLG win; EG win; TSM win
Good luck tonight! Cores for both FD and DK will be posted on the site tonight.
