Tonight looks like it will be a pretty straight forward slate, where we will see most of the favorites come away victorious. The only series that I see an upset in is the BLG/RA series. With that, RNG are the clear cut top play tonight. They finally look like they have rounded into form, and are looking like the top team in the world once again. Ultra Prime is going to struggle here, and should provide RNG a chance at coming away with big kill totals. I find it very hard to get away from RNG here, so I will be getting to tons of RNG in both cash and tournaments.
A team I like to pair with RNG in cash games tonight, is GEN. GEN gets a favorable matchup tonight vs. LSB, and are actually the second biggest favorite on the slate. Typically when we target LCK squads, we expect low kill totals, and not much fantasy relevance. However, this GEN squad has really scored well in wins, and tonight should be no different. I look for Ruler, Rascal and Clid to have big games tonight, and I believe that they make for a very strong short stack to go along with RNG. As part of the GEN short stack I would make sure their team slot is part of the short stack, because you will want all of the RNG fire power you can get in your lineup.
My lone upset projection tonight comes in the BLG/RA series. BLG have really started to come on strong here. They actually have not had a bad split overall, but over the last 6 series, they are 5-1 and have only lost a total of 4 games. They have beat some of the LPL best in FPX and JDG during that span and really look like they are playing their best right now. When it comes to RA, they have really hit a rough stretch over their last 4 series. They have lost 3 of their last 4 and have not looked anything like the RA that we watched earlier this split. Tonight I am riding with the hot BLG squad, and will even go as far as calling a win via sweep here for BLG. Aiming, Biubiu and Zeka are the top plays from BLG for me tonight.
My predictions for tonight are as follows:
GEN win 2-0; BLG win 2-1; RNG win 2-0; T1 win 2-1
Good luck tonight! Cores for both FD and DK will be posted on the site tonight.
