Sriracha’s LPL Breakdown- 6/22/20

What’s up guys! Hope you had a nice Father’s Day weekend with your loved ones. Today we have a short 2 game slate as LCK takes Sunday/Monday off. We’ll be going over both games and how to approach the slate in terms of cash and gpp builds.

IG vs LGD (IG-185)

LGD has came out pretty strong so far, on route to a 3-1 record. Xiye has been a nice improvement over Yuuki, and Mark has shown really good chemistry with Kramer. LGD will be my top GPP team of the slate, as they have a decent chance to 2-1 IG if they are able to snowball early. IG will be the CASH team here for me though, I think they’ve finally figured out how to play with different approaches and not just try to win the laning phases and snowball from there. They’ve been able to win in different aspects of the game and show great synergy in team fights, and they are finally playing some meta champs. Jungler Ning came out and said they are actually reading patch notes now and it’s paid off for them. The one spot here I can see LGD really taking advantage of is the top lane, TheShy has absolutely FED to start the split off, and I can see LGD attacking him early. IG has the advantage in the mid lane, so I expect Rookie to show out today and carry IG to a 2-1 victory.

DMO vs JDG (JDG -4000)

This should be your main cash team today with 4 pieces. I like them to absolutely crush, DMO lost almost all their good players and now they look like the v5 of the last split. Every single person is in play here, and I wouldn’t even touch DMO at all unless you are MME. They have no advantages anywhere and JDG is by far more superior in every single aspect of the game. I’m getting as much JDG as possible and pairing with both sides of LGD/IG in GPPS.

Good luck everyone! This should be a fun slate, I hope you guys cash out! I’ll be back with a LPL/LCK breakdown tomorrow, either that or a Final Thoughts!
