Sriracha’s LPL/LCK DFS Breakdown- 6/16/20

What’s up guys, how’s everyone been? I’ve been pretty busy handling some stuff and making non stop phone calls, but I’m glad I was able to free up some time to write this article for you guys today, on our first LCK/LPL slate of the Summer Split. Let’s get right into it, I’m gonna be highlighting my predictions for the outcomes of each series, with some analysis on why and highlighting the players I think will lead the charge. Let’s get right into it guys!

LPL Games-

IG vs RW (IG -450)

RW showed some nice synergy in their final games of the Spring Split, but now with everything on LAN we see some players that struggled/did well online do completely opposite. For example, their jungler Haro was the main X factor for RW in the ending of the Spring Split. Now, he hasn’t earned a start yet, as he was benched in favor of YouDang. This could be due to the fact that he isn’t as good on LAN, or something behind the scenes that we don’t know about. Rogue Warriors have a nice bot lane, led by ZWuji and Ley. If they have any chance at winning this game, it’ll have to be through them. IG die the most in losses on the slate, so if RW somehow edge out a win, they’ll be in the top GPP lineups. However, the team I want to focus on, and the team I think that wins is IG. I want to note that they looked pretty predictable vs WE, they had approached the game the same way they did in the Spring and got demolished on their aggressiveness and overstepping. They turned that around vs SN, and played a pretty clean series. They had 32 kills in their sweep vs SN, and their main issues at the moment are with the top side. TheShy has just declined, continuing his play of the Spring Split. He already has a whopping 18 deaths in 4 games, as he had 11 combined deaths in their 0-2 loss to WE, and 6 deaths in game 2 of the 2-0 sweep of SN. I personally think that this is a better matchup for him, as Holder/Crazy don’t pose many threats if their Wukong is banned, but I won’t be overexposed- he has the second lowest KP% out of all TOPs on the slate, while averaging the most deaths compared to anyone on the slate. I think that they’ll have to get Ning going early and start diving the top lane to really get TheShy ahead of Crazy/Holder (assuming they sub). IG is clearly the superior team, I was just highlighting some potential things to watch out for. Rookie/Puff/Southwind should lead this squad tonight to a 2-0 victory, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see RW take a game.

My favorite plays from this game- Puff/Rookie/Southwind

EDG vs SN (EDG -215)

SN has played a whopping 9 games already, with a 2-2 record. They have looked pretty decent and I think they can definitely be a mid pack team that makes the playoffs. I really like what I’ve seen out of Huanfeng, even with the team showing some minor inconsistencies. He’s been the most consistent and if SN win tonight they’ll be led by Huanfeng and Angel. Hope and Scout are no easy task, which is why I think EDG wins tonight 2-1. They have 29.0 implied kills today, ranked second on the slate behind IG. They are starting JieJie over JunJia today, which I don’t mind, because I don’t see a huge gap in skill here. EDG should take this series overall, but I can see SN taking a game for sure, as EDG has misstepped a little particularly in the series vs WE, but all in all I think that SN is not one to capitalize on overstepping compared to an aggressive team such as WE, and EDG has always been reliable to make in game adjustments.

My favorite plays from this game- Hope/Scout/Meiko

LCK Games-

T1 vs DRX (T1-180)

This should be the game I’m attacking the most on FanDuel where we need the one off, and on DK I will be sprinkling this game in for my GPPS. T1 has the upper hand here for sure, they beat DRX 3-1 in the playoffs and displayed utter dominance on them. T1 is smart, and led by Faker, they focus on a conservative play style, which has led to many wins, most recently the Spring 2020 Split Title. I think they have a great shot to win it again in the Summer Split. DRX can take a game here from T1, as they have a really nice squad of their own. I think this goes 2-1, in favor of T1. I would limit my exposure but definitely have some pieces of T1 because they had 15+ kills in every win vs DRX in the 2020 Spring Playoffs. They definitely know DRX’s play style, and I’ll take the reigning champs here.

My favorite plays from this game- Faker/Cuzz/Canna

AF vs SB (AF -170)

Afreeca should, and I say “should” in quotes because we don’t get LCK lineups released until minutes prior to their games, start Kiin, Spirit, All In, Mystic and Jelly. Who knows if this is the official starting lineup, but I’m just taking an educated guess here. I’m personally having little to no exposure of this game other than maybe AF at team spot. AF average just over 10 kills per win, and either team don’t really show any aggression for me to think this game can turn out to be “bloody”. I think AF take this 2-1 but I’m having small darts from this game only.

My favorite plays from this game- Mystic/All In
