Sriracha’s LPL/LCK DFS Breakdown- 7/4/20

What’s up everyone! Tonight’s slate is pretty nice, it seems pretty straightforward with one game in particular that could make or break my GPP lineups tonight. I’ll be going over the teams I like for cash games first, then going to follow up with my GPP approach. Let’s get right into it, and happy 4th of July weekend! Stay safe out there! I’ll make this article short so you guys can continue on with your festivities.

CASH

EDG -450 vs RW

RW was a solid call on our last article as they were all in the top GPP winning lineups, however the only issue was they gave up so many deaths in the process and ultimately lost the series in a close 2-1 loss to OMG. Today, EDG gets Hope back from his week off for a hospital visit, and he’s well enough to get back on stage. EDG should be able to take advantage of RW’s aggressiveness and match it with their own, as RW die the most in losses on the slate. On top of that, RW is scrappy and them getting a few picks here and there can make the game longer and provide more kills for EDG, which gives them a safe floor with high upside. They will be my featured team tonight in all formats. Scout/Hope/JieJie are main focuses, Aodi/Meiko are perfectly fine as well.

DWG -800 vs HLE

DWG should be able to roll over HLE who have shown no chemistry whatsoever. They look completely lost out there and DWG should be able to just sweep this series 2-0. However, DWG could score low even with this 2-0 sweep. That’s the only reason why I’ll be limiting my exposure in GPPS where I can see them not having that ceiling I need, but in cash games they are an easy bet for a 2-0 sweep and if they turn out to be bloody then that’s even better. HLE has given up kills in losses but they simply just don’t fight back much to make the game longer. I’m prioritizing Showmaker, BeryL, and Ghost.

GPP

JDG -140 vs IG

JDG has struggled vs the top teams so far, as they dropped two to RNG and TES. However, it seems as if they are getting their rhythm back and are finally drafting like they had last split, instead of experimenting. IG should put up a tough fight here, but I think JDG will just continue to bully TheShy up in the top lane and allow Kanavi to roam around the map more. It should be advantageous to IG in the mid lane, but JDG has the advantages in top, jungle, and bot. I love them today for tournaments as IG gives up kills in losses. This should probably be a 2-1 series with JDG likely losing a game due to their draft comp or simple misplays. But overall they should win the series! My focuses are Loken, Kanavi and Zoom.

DYN-300 vs SB

They should be low owned and this could be a great leverage play with their approach to the game. SB is really bad and DYN have shown that they belong in the LCK. DYN like to be aggressive and snowball early so I can definitely see them diving early and getting Rich ahead. Rich loves the Aatrox and I doubt SB will waste a ban on Aatrox, so that alone should be a win condition for DYN. I love Rich/Kuzan/Deokdam here. 2-0 victory.

Thanks for reading! Happy 4th of July Weekend! I hope to see you in our discord chatroom!
