Over/Under 2/2 – Philadelphia Eagles/Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers hasn’t looked like himself in 2019, and it’s fair to say he has played poorly thus far. He’s averaging only 215.7 passing yards per game, but that doesn’t necessarily tell the whole story. His first matchup of the season was against a solid Chicago Bears defense. He then saw his team get out to early leads against the Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos, and his arm wasn’t needed as much as usual. While it’s fair to say he hasn’t looked the same, it’s also fair to say the opportunities have been different, as well. This week, he gets a matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, who are allowed the fourth more passing yards (293.7) per game this season. They have given up 300+ yards to Case Keenum and Matt Ryan before performing better against Matthew Stafford last week. The Green Bay Packers could struggle to run the ball against a stout defensive line in this game, leaving Rodgers to throw against a weak secondary. The Packers defense hasn’t played the best offenses in the NFL thus far, but they are allowing only 197.3 passing yards per game. None of their first three opponents were able to top the 267.5 passing yard total, even though they were all playing from behind. Green Bay spent years drafting pieces to their secondary, and a step forward was always expected after they signed a few pass rushers in free agency. Carson Wentz is averaging 267.7 passing yards per game this season, but he has thrown for less than 260 yards in each of his last two games. Green Bay’s major defensive hole has been stopping the run, and Philadelphia will likely lean on their running backs to find success in this game.

Play 1 unit on Aaron Rodgers OVER 277.5 passing yards and Carson Wentz UNDER 267.5 passing yards to win 3 units (3x)
