Important Notes

The most important note for StatHero is their scoring system. It’s different from what you’re likely used to, and we need to note what the most important aspects are. Quarterbacks are far and away the most important position, specifically passing yards. They get 0.05 fantasy points for every 1 passing yard compared to only 0.1 fantasy points per 1 rushing or receiving yard. For instance, a quarterback would receive 15 fantasy points for 300 yards passing. He would need 3.75 passing touchdowns to reach that. Running backs and receivers would need 1,50 yards to hit that number. They would need 2.5 touchdowns to score 15 fantasy points.

Tight ends are another major part of their scoring. They will receive 1.5 fantasy points per reception, while running backs and wide receivers only receive 1 fantasy point per reception. With StatHero’s current scoring system, it could be a key to stack a team with a dominant quarterback and tight end pairing to go along with the other options on the offense.

The final scoring that could make or break your lineup is the distance bonus. Quarterbacks receive a slightly smaller bonus for long passing touchdowns, while running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends get a bit more of a bonus for touchdowns. Ultimately, you want touchdowns to come from 10+ yards out, which is the distance the bonus’ start at.

Dallas Cowboys

Dak Prescott/Ezekiel Elliott/Amari Cooper

Dak Prescott has seen plenty of ups and downs throughout the 2019 season. Still, he’s averaging 306.6 yards and 1.7 touchdowns on 37.5 pass attempts per game. He has also added 242 yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground. Prescott gets a matchup against the Washington Redskins, who are allowing 235.3 passing yards per game this season. With that being said, they have allowed 31 passing touchdowns, while recording only 13 interceptions in 2019. The Dallas Cowboys are -11 point favorites in a game set at 45.5 points, giving them an implied team total of 28.3 points this weekend.

Ezekiel Elliott is in the midst of a “down” season, but he’s still averaging 82.3 yards and 0.7 touchdowns on 18.9 carries per game. Elliott has also turned 66 targets into 51 receptions for 418 yards and 1 touchdown through 15 games. Most importantly, he gets a matchup against  Washington, who is allowing 141.1 rushing yards per game in 2019. They are allowing their opponents to average 4.6 yards per carry, as well. Surprisingly, the Redskins have only allowed 16 rushing touchdowns this season. Elliott scored 20+ fantasy points in his only matchup against them this season, though, and he could find similar success this weekend.

Amari Cooper is another player that has seen mixed results this season. Through 15 games, he’s averaging 5.0 receptions for 73.1 yards and 0.5 touchdowns on 7.6 targets per game. He’s also averaging a 6.9/111.0/0.7 line on 8.9 targets per game in Dallas. Cooper has seen 1,367 air yards with a 12.0 aDOT in 2019. He has only seen 9 red zone targets this season, turning those into 6 receptions for 73 yards and 5 touchdowns. Cooper is a player that comes with elite upside, specifically at home.

Los Angeles Rams

Jared Goff/Robert Woods/Tyler Higbee

Jared Goff has flashed a terrible floor to go along with an outstanding ceiling. He’s averaging 287.9 yards and 1.3 touchdowns on 38.7 pass attempts per game. Goff has also thrown for 500+ yards in a game this season. He gets an elite matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, who are allowing 279.9 passing yards per game. They have given up 35 passing touchdowns, while recording only 7 interceptions, as well. The Los Angeles Rams are -7 point favorites in a game set at 49 points, and they boast an implied team total of 28 points.

Robert Woods has been enjoying an outstanding season. He’s averaging 5.9 receptions for 76.2 yards and 0.1 touchdown on 9.1 targets per game. Woods has seen 1,061 air yards to go along with an 8.4 aDOT in 2019. He has only seen eight red zone targets this season, though. He has turned those into 5 receptions for 28 yards and 1 touchdown. Cooper Kupp is the other option at receiver, but Woods has seen 9+ targets in each of his last 6 games.

Tyler Higbee has caught fire over his last four games. Over that span, he’s averaging 8.8 receptions for 109.5 yards and 0.3 touchdowns on 11.0 targets per game. He has posted 100+ yards in each of those games, as well. On the season, Higbee has seen 524 air yards with a 6.8 aDOT. More importantly, he has recorded 15 red zone targets this season. He turned those targets into 11 receptions for 61 yards and 2 touchdowns. Higbee has been a huge part of the offense in recent weeks, and he’s an elite tight end option this weekend.

Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers/Aaron Jones/Davante Adams

Aaron Rodgers hasn’t been enjoying his normal elite season, but he’s averaging 245.3 yards and 1.6 touchdowns on 34.3 pass attempts per game. He gets an elite matchup against the Detroit Lions, who are allowing a league-high 282.6 passing yards per game. They have also allowed 31 passing touchdowns, while recording only 6 interceptions. The Green Bay Packers are -12.5 point favorite in a game set at 43 points, and they possess an implied team total of 27.8 points this week.

Aaron Jones comes with tremendous upside, although he does possess quite a bit off risk. He’s averaging 65.6 yards and 1.1 touchdowns on 14.1 carries per game. Jones has posted 47 receptions for 431 yards and 3 touchdowns on 62 targets this season. He gets a matchup against Detroit, who is allowing 115.7 rushing yards per game. They have given up 4.1 yards per carry, as well. The Lions have also allowed 13 rushing touchdowns in 2019. Jamaal Williams is currently questionable for this game, and Jones will become arguably the top running back on the slate if he is out.

Davante Adams has performed well in 2019, but he has seen plenty of touchdown regression. Through 11 games, he’s averaging 6.9 receptions for 82.2 yards and 0.4 touchdowns on 10.4 targets per game. Adams has only seen 1,066 air yards in 2019, posting a 9.4 aDOT. He does lead Green Bay with 17 red zone targets, though. He has turned those into 12 receptions for 75 yards and 3 touchdowns. Adams has found plenty of success since returning from injury, and he makes an elite option on this slate.
