Bales’ Premium PrizePicks – NFL Draft Edition

Welcome to Bales’ Premium PrizePicks – NFL Draft Edition! Below I will discuss my favorite NFL Draft plays for tonight!

Power Play

I’ve believed the Detroit Lions were going to trade out of their pick for quite some time now. If they don’t, there is still virtually a 50/50 chance that they select Jeff Okudah, as reports have stated that they are one of the highest teams in the NFL on Derrick Brown, as well. With Joe Burrow and Chase Young locked into first and second, and the New York Giants looking strongly at an offensive tackle or Isaiah Simmons, the third pick is the only selection we need to worry about here. If Detroit truly is keen on the Ohio State cornerback, it’s unlikely they’re willing to deal this pick to someone they’d assume would draft him. Instead, it seems like that this pick will be dealt to someone that is moving up for Tua Tagovailoa or an offensive tackle. There is a very real sense that some teams have CJ Henderson ranked ahead of Okudah on their boards, as well. Simply put, we likely only need Okudah to not be selected third to hit the over.

Jeff Gladney is a bit more open ended. He has all of the skills to be a CB1 in the NFL, but he’s a bit undersized. There is also tremendous depth at cornerback in this draft, meaning we’ll likely see one of two scenarios; there’s a run on them in the first or the talent pushes everyone back. Reports have suggested that Jeff Okudah and CJ Henderson will both be selected in the top 10. If that’s the case, there’s a plethora of teams that still need help in the secondary. This prop gives us an extra boost with the first three picks in the second round, but I fully expect Gladney to be a first round selection in this draft.

Play 1 unit on Jeff Okudah OVER 4.5 and Jeff Gladney UNDER 35.5 to win 2.5 units (2.5x)
