Top Value Plays

Quarterback

Max Duggan (TCU): DK 5800 FD 8500

I talked about this matchup on my game theory article.  This is going to be a high scoring game.  Look at last week when Texas faced Texas Tech and allowed 56 points.  Duggan did not come into the game last week until after halftime, but all signs are pointing towards him starting this week.  In just a half last week, he was able to compile 3 touchdowns and over 200 yards passing.  I think he has a very high ceiling at his price.  TCU will need a big game out of Duggan if they want to keep this close.

Skylar Thompson (K-State): DK 6500 FD 9500

Again, I point you back to last week where Texas Tech allowed Texas to score over 60 points.  Thompson comes with rushing upside in this matchup and for his price point should have no problem exceeding value.  This is another game that should be high scoring and present Thompson with many opportunities to rack up touchdowns through the air and on the ground.

Running Backs

Kylan Watkins (MEM):  DK 4600  FD 7300

Memphis deploys a good big of 2 back sets and have Watkins and Rodriguez Clark on the field at the same time.  Watkins looks to be the more explosive back and can do a lot of damage with limited opportunity.  He had 14 carries in their last game for 52 yards.  I believe on a slate with so many high priced studs, you have to find some value guys and Watkins is one that really intrigues me.

Zamir White (UGA):  FD only 7800

Zamir is an extremely talented back, and is UGA’s primary running back.  Kirby made comments that he wanted to establish the run vs. Auburn this week, and Zamir is a big part of that.  Auburn does not have the dominant defensive line that they’ve had over the past few years, which should afford Zamir the opportunity to break a big one.  At 7800 on FD, that is just way to cheap for someone that can score 30+ points on any given weekend.

Zach Evans (TCU):  DK 3100  FD 5000

I will keep an eye on his status in the morning, but if he is active and gets run, he could be a stone cold lock for us.  He is min price on both sites.  Evans was the #1 running back in last years recruiting class, and supposedly has been practicing this past week after dealing with an injury/illness.  I will keep our subs updated on this situation in our CFB discord channel.

Wide Receivers

Sean Dykes (MEM):  DK 5000 FD 8400

Draftkings dropped the ball on Dykes pricing this week.  We are talking about one of Memphis’ top receiving targets this year.  He dropped a 10/137/2 stat line last game and was one of the main focal points of this offense.  I expect White to look his way early and often.  With so much focus being put on Coxie, it should free up Dykes to make some big plays for this Memphis offense.

KeSean Carter (Texas Tech):  DK 5000  FD 7400

Carter has been a bright spot for this Texas Tech offense early in the season.  Over two weeks he has averaged 7 receptions and almost 10 targets per game.  Rigdon has a chance of missing this week, and if he does, that should increase Carter’s target share in an offense that throws the ball a ton.  Bowman has averaged over 50 passing attempts per game so far this year.  $5000 is a very reasonable price for Carter on DK and if this game stays close, like it should, he could crush that price tag.
