NFL DFS Week 15- Darnell’s SuperDraft Plays

SuperDraft Super Plays

Quarterback

Jalen Hurts (1.7x)- He is priced as if he did not have a very good game versus a tough defense last week. He now gets a matchup against a fast-paced Arizona Cardinals team that should put up points against this poor Eagles defense. 1.7x is amazing with his safety and upside. He is far and away my favorite quarterback play on this slate if ownership is not an issue. He should be high owned and for good reason

Mitch Trubisky (1.6x)- This multiplier is too high for a relatively consistent quarterback against a bad Minnesota Vikings defense. Since his return to the starting quarterback helm, he has shown steadiness to make you feel good about taking him. He has also shown an upside that will capitalize on this nice multiplier. Do not be scared off of Trubisky.

Other options: (Tua Tagovailoa- 1.6x) (Lamar Jackson-1.25x)

Running Back

Derrick Henry (1x)- I will get the obligatory Derrick Henry portion of this article out of the way. This man has the capabilities to outscore anyone on this slate, even without the help of a multiplier. There will never be an argument if you decide to go this route.

Cam Akers (1.5x)- Unless SuperDraft knows something about Sean McVay’s game plan that I don’t, this is an extremely high multiplier for a running back that is the clear number one in this Rams backfield. Not only has Akers been getting workhorse type work, he has a matchup against the pitiful Jets that seem to be shooting to lose. The Rams are slated to destroy the Jets, so I anticipate touchdowns being scored. After the touchdowns, I presume the Rams will pound the ball. Akers should see a bulk of the work.

Alvin Kamara (1.15x)- SuperDraft must have known that the planets would align for Kamara. This is a low multiplier, but based on everything that has happened this week, he is a lock and load for me. Drew Brees will be returning to the starting lineup, which makes the Saints more of a pass-happy team. To top that off, Michael Thomas has been placed on injured reserve. Kamara sees a massive number of targets when Thomas is out and against the high-power chiefs, I see no reason that this shouldn’t happen.

Other options: (Dalvin Cook- 1x) (Leonard Fournette-1.6x)

Wide Receiver

Lynn Bowden Jr. (2x)- Bowden has a lot of things working in his favor. The Miami Dolphins receiving corps is banged up and Bowden has emerged over the last couple of weeks. The best thing that he has going for him is that he will be receiving double points for anything he does. This makes him a full ppr player and means a touchdown from him is worth at minimum 13.2 points. This game against the New England Patriots should be ugly, but I would be willing to take my chances on this great play.

Allen Robinson (1.3x)- Robinson is a stud receiver that has been hampered by less than stellar quarterback play for his whole career. For those that love stacking, feel free to load him up with your Mitchell Trubisky and attack this bad Vikings defense. If the Vikings take the lead, that will give the Bears more reason to throw it and that will only bode well for Robinson.

Calvin Ridley (1.1x) & Russell Gage (1.8x)- Julio Jones has been ruled out. I anticipate the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to lead most of the game. This will cause the Falcons to have to throw to keep up and hope to catch up. Matt Ryan has been very ineffective; however, he should be forced to feed these two a lot. Of course, Ridley is the far superior receiver, but Gage’s multiplier puts him in play as well.

Other options: (Brandon Aiyuk-1.4x) (Keke Coutee-1.65x)

Tight End

Travis Kelce(1x)- DUH!

Irv Smith Jr. (2x) – With Kyle Rudolph ruled out, ‘’Touchdown’’ Smith has a path to achieve greatness. He will get double the points for everything he does. I am very interested in that.
