Game Spreads and Totals:

Syracuse @ Louisville (-19)  O/U: 55.5

Purdue (-1.5) @ Minnesota  O/U: 61

UMass @ FAU (-33)  O/U 51.5

New Mexico @ Air Force (-9.5)  O/U 55.5

Top Plays

Quarterbacks:

Malik Cunningham (LOU): DK 9,300  FD 10,400

Cunningham will be facing one of the worst defenses in the ACC tonight, and is in position to have a very strong game. Last week we received news that Hawkins was opting out of the rest of the year, and this decision led to Cunningham seeing a huge increase in rushing attempts. Cunningham ran for 197 yards and two touchdowns last week without Hawkins. Cunningham is a really talented runner, Louisville however, has not needed to depend on his rushing ability as much this year with Hawkins in the backfield. He is priced up this week, and makes it tough to build a solid lineup around him, but he is by far the top Quarterback for me tonight.

Aiden O’Connell (PUR):  DK 6,600  FD 8,900

O’Connell and the Boilermakers will be facing Minnesota tonight.  Minnesota has proven to have one of the worst defenses in the entire country. O’Connell comes into this game with a questionable tag, so we need to monitor news and make sure that he is good to go tonight. Purdue is a pass heavy team, and O’Connell is averaging nearly 47 pass attempts per game. We watched Maryland absolutely dismantle Minnesota through the air, and Purdue should do the same. O’Connell has some really nice weapons surrounding him, and I expect this Purdue offense to put up some very nice numbers tonight.  O’Connell is also a good bet to get the 300+ yard bonus on DK.

Others to consider:  J. Posey (FAU)*gpp only; T. Tuioti (UNM)-QUEST

Running Backs:

Hassan Hall (LOU):  DK 5,000  FD 6,500

Hassan Hall is expected to return tonight, and his return couldn’t come at a better time.  With Hawkins out the rest of the year, Hall is expected to jump right into the featured running back role for this high powered Louisville offense. I do not expect the same kind of production that we got from Hawkins, but we have seen that running backs can thrive in this offense. The threat that Cunningham imposes with his rushing ability ultimately helps Hall out. Hall is extremely cheap on both sites, and is a near must in cash games tonight. Syracuse allows over 220 rush yards per game, setting up for a big opportunity for both Hall and Cunningham.

Mohammed Ibrahim (MINN):  DK 9,700  FD 11,200

Ibrahim has been on fire to start off his 2020 campaign. He has rushed for over 700 yards and 10 touchdowns so far. This week he will have a pretty tough matchup vs. Purdue.  Purdue has only allowed around 150 rushing yards per game, but Ibrahim is elite and gets a heavy amount of opportunities in this offense, I don’t believe they will be able to keep him down. The main concern with Ibrahim is that he is priced up so high. I do think you can play Ibrahim and Cunningham, but it will limit you everywhere else.  Overall, Ibrahim should be in store for a very solid outing tonight.

Others to consider: BJ Emmons (FAU); S. Tucker (SYR); Z. Horvath (PUR)

Wide Receivers:

David Bell (PUR):  DK 8,500  FD 9,100

I really like this Purdue passing game tonight and Bell is a big reason why. Bell has been an absolute stud so far this year, averaging over 15 targets and over 100 yards per game. I mentioned earlier in the article that Minnesota is one of the worst defenses in the country, and I expect O’Connell and Bell to dismantle them tonight. Bell’s co-star WR Rondale Moore is on his way to returning to the lineup, so this is one thing that could cut into Bell’s massive target share. However, as of now, Moore is questionable to play, so if he in fact does miss this contest, Bell should continue to see an absurd amount of targets tonight. If Moore does play, I would expect him to be limited, thus still making Bell a very solid play.

Taj Harris (SYR):  DK 5,100  FD 7,700

Syracuse is not a very good football team, fortunately for them, they get to face a defense that ranks near dead last in the ACC. Syracuse will be in a position tonight where they will be playing catchup all game, forcing them to throw more than they may feel comfortable throwing. Harris should be a direct beneficiary of this game environment. He is the top wide out for this Syracuse squad, and if Morgan does end up getting the start, I like him even more. Harris has received nearly 10 targets per game, and should have no problem getting at least to that number tonight if not much more. Harris is a solid value play tonight and comes with big upside, if their offense can show any signs of life!

Others to consider:  R. Bateman (MINN); D. Fitzpatrick (LOU); T. Atwell (LOU); B. Lewis (AF); E. Logan-Greene (UNM); J. Kress (UNM)
