NFL DFS Week 1 – Frosty’s Bonus Bonanza

In addition to my weekly Yahoo! Cash plays article, I will be having a Bonus Bonanza! For DraftKings where I will highlight a popular play that should get the bonus (300 yards for QB, 100 yards for RB/WR/TE) and one not so popular play to help you crush your GPP’s. Remember to check out the tons of information that we have @ DFSKarma.com. And use promocode QUARTERBACK to receive an additional 20% off in any of our packages.

My chalk quarterback play that will get the 300 yard bonus is Jameis Winston, $6,600 in a potential shoot-out against the 49ers. For massive leverage, and still getting a player I expect to hit the 300 yard threshold, play Matthew Stafford for only $5,400 in a great matchup against the Cardinals.

As for running backs, everyone will be playing Dalvin Cook for $6,000. He should crush the Falcons and is a very safe bet to get the bonus. Other obvious players that will reach the century mark are Zeke, Barkley and Christian McCaffrey. While everyone will be rostering Austin Ekeler for the Chargers, I believe the bonus play is Justin Jackson at a very low $4,000. The Chargers know that Ekeler is their true difference maker but I think they are going to try to establish Justin Jackson as a runner.

When it comes to Wide Receivers, basically any top WR will have a great shot at reaching the bonus given their volume. A lower owned play that I absolutely love  is Kenny Golladay against the Cardinals. This is Kenny’s season….hope you are prepared and he correlates with my pick of Matt Stafford. If you are looking for a suuuuuuuuuuper low owned Bonus potential play, look no further than Marqise Lee at $4,400. — as long as he is active. Note: Lee returned to practice on Friday. This is an absolute milly-maker type of play at under 1% owned. If you are rostering a Jax WR it should be Dede Westbrook, but you know who knows that as well? The Chiefs. Lee is coming off a huge injury that made him miss all of 2018 but we all know he has a ton of talent and this game also projects as a shoot-out.

Finishing up with Tight Ends, Kelce and Ertz are (as always) our top bets to receive the bonus. Since we are probably not going to pay all the way up, a very sneaky candidate is David Njoku. It seems crazy to have him with so many mouths to feed, but he has the athleticism to break one long catch and the Titans won’t be able to cover everyone on this Browns offense.
