Chris’ NHL Breakdown – 10/3/19

Whats up Karma Nation!

Hey everyone, we have a nice eight game slate tonight with some really explosive offenses going. I am here to help you breakdown some of the top cash plays along with some of my favorite stacks of the night.

Centers

Nathan Mackinnon– The first guy I happened to write is a lock on both sites for me. Mack is a beast at home and shoots the puck at a extremely high rate. He’s a must for me today in a high paced game.

Tyler Johnson– TJ is skating with one of the best players in the world (Kucherov) on the highest team total of the night. Johnson also gets to skate on the Bolts top power play tonight as well. He’s a great value if needed.

Sidney Crosby-  Sid the kid is a good tournament play, he has always torched the Sabres in the past and I expect that to continue tonight.

Patrice Bergeron– The Boston superstar is back with his normal linemates tonight and I think this game has a chance to be shootout, if that’s true it will start and end with Boston 1.

Wingers

Patric Hornqvist– Here is my chalky play of the night, it’s also a cheap way to get cheap Crosby exposure. Patric averages around 3 shots per game and will also skate on the Pens top power play.

Victor Olofsson– Will be skating on the Sabres top line with Eichel and Reinhart today, the kid has been good as of late and will also get top power play time. Victor is very close to a lock for me on DK at his price.

Alexander Radulov– Rad averaged a point per game last season and shoots the puck at will, he was moved down to the Stars second line for this game. The shift to the second line is a small bump to his game, I still consider him a good cash game play.

Brendan Gallagher– He didn’t have the best preseason but he will still face a inconsistent Carolina goalie tonight. Brendan is on the top power play and has decent upside at this price.

Artemi Panarin– This is a DK only play for me, Bread is skating with his new team on the top line vs a Jets team that isn’t the same as last year defensively. He has averaged over 30 goals for the past few seasons.

Defense

Josh Morrissey–  With no Buff, Morrissey is the Jets top defensemen and a lock for me on FD tonight. His price tag is very friendly for a player who should get a much increased role vs a bad Rangers team.

Brendan Guhle– Here is you value tonight guys, he is min price on both sites. Guhle is an offensive minded player who can find you value tonight very easy. Skating on the second line.

Shea Weber– Shea has one of the safest floors in hockey, he a do it all kinda guy. Weber last season averaged 3 shots per game and also 2 blocks per game.

Roman Josi-Here is my top overall player at defense, talk about safe floor and even higher ceiling. Josi is the backbone of the Preds D. He will also get time on the power play. If you have the money i’d work him in.

Kris Letang– With a 3.3 game total against my Sabres here is another way to get some Crosby exposure, Letang has a safe floor kinda like Josi.

Goalies

Andrei Vasilevskiy- The Bolts goalie is the top overall play for tonight for me. The Lighting have the highest total on the slate, so Vas should in line for the win. I think the shot volume is there as well for him.

Matt Murray- Is one of the biggest favorites of the night. I think he close to the top cash game play on both sites. The shot volume is there as the Sabres shoot the puck at a very high level.

GPP Goalie- Connor Hellebuyck- He will be facing a not so hot Rangers team in New York, I feel he is under priced on both sites. The shot volume is there as well, my top gpp goalie of the night.

Stacks

Colorado 1- Nathan Mackinnon, Miko Rantanen and Gabriel Landeskog (add on Cale Makar)

Bolts 1- Tyler Johnson, Nikita Kucherov and Steven Stamkos

Panthers 2- Mike Hoffman, Vincent Trocheck, Brett Connolly
