Jaime’s EPL Week 30 DraftKings GPP Punts and Pivots

Week 30 is here and once again we will need to decide what to do with Manchester City. This time City is the late game and they are hosting Watford. Spurs area also in a good position on the road at Southampton and will be less owned than City. I also like the spots for Bournemouth at Huddersfield and Leicester at home facing Fulham. Here are my favorite plays of the week.

Forward

Top: Sergio Aguero $10,600

Manchester City are massive favorites at home against Watford and Aguero has the best odds to score on the entire slate. You will need at least one piece from city and it all depends who starts and we will not know until the first set of games are done. If Sane $9,500 starts I like him as well but I will probably end up playing just one high priced City player. Harry Kane $10,300 is in a very good spot to score at Southampton but with so many good options at midfield it might be hard to fit him in. He will be less owned than the City guys though.

Mid: Callum Wilson $7,800

Wilson could be returning from injury today and gets an amazing matchup against Huddersfield. Earlier in the year he scored an assisted against the Terriers and could have himself another great game here. If Callum Wilson does not end up starting I do not mind just playing Joshua King $6,900 instead. Richarlison $6,500 also seems very cheap going up against Newcastle.

Value: Miguel Almiron $5,400

Almiron has been solid since moving to the EPL from the MLS. He takes shots and crosses the ball and is due to have a big game. Everton’s defense has been much better the past three weeks only allowing one goal but at this price a few shots and crosses are enough to reach value and if he ends up scoring it could give him a 20 plus point performance.

Midfielders

Top: James Maddison $8,300

Maddison might be my favorite play of the entire slate and I will probably building my lineup this week around him. The guy has scored at least 10 points in 9 out of the last 10 matches. None of the City guys have this kind of floor and upside this week and with Maddison playing against Fulham at home I am just locking him in and moving on.

.

Mid: Christian Eriksen $7,800

The matchup against Southampton is good and he will probably under 15 percent owned. Trippier figures to be out today and would make Eriksen an even better play. Back in December Eriksen had 14 points against this same team without finding the back of the net. I can see him matching that performance and he could make it even better if he finds the back of the net.

Value: Felipe Anderson $5,500

Felipe has constantly been a 8k player this season and today we somehow get him for much less against Cardiff. This is the same Cardiff team that gave up 5 goals to Watford and the same team that has given up 13 goals in their last four games. Felipe has not had a big game since December but the spot could not get any better for him to have a breakout game and he will not be owned.

Defense

Top: Lucas Digne $6,300

Not much to say here besides the fact he gets a good matchup against Newcastle and he is pretty much a lock guy anytime he is on a slate. Last game against Newcastle he had 23 points from 22 crosses. Just lock and move on.

Mid: Yan Valery $4,500

The matchup against Spurs is not ideal but he has had good performances against some top end teams like chelsea and a 14 point performance against United last week. He also has not scored less than 5 points in the last 5 weeks and he should be busy enough at home to reach and possibly surpass value here.

Value: Calum Chamber $3,700

I will probably be playing guys above Chambers but if you need value there is nothing wrong with Chambers. He basically plays mid and gets a few chances to score every game and the matchup against Leicester is nothing to be scared off.

Goalkeeper

Artur Boruc $4,900

Huddersfield has scored a total of 1 goal in the last 7 games. I like the chances of Bournemouth to win here and the chances of keeping a clean sheet are good as well. Etheridge $4,400 figures to be the chalk goalkeeper this week but I think he gets lit up again so I would rather pay the extra 500 for Boruc against a team that rarely scores goals.

As always if you have any questions feel free to send me a message on discord or on twitter. I can’t wait to see all the screenshots after we dominate this week! Enjoy the slate and make sure to tune in to our slack when lineups come out since we usually drop a play or two in there as well.
