Jaime’s EPL Week 32 DraftKings GPP Punts and Pivots

Daily Soccer Picks by Jaime EPL Week 32

Week 32 is here and man is it nice to be back from international break. It is always a good week when there is no Man City on the slate and that is exactly what we get this weekend. Manchester United hosts Watford and will sure gather most of the ownership on the slate and rightfully so with the way they have been playing. My favorite team to target this week might be Crystal Palace who is hosting the world famous leaky Huddersfield defense. Leicester has a pretty decent matchup at home against Bournemouth but that should be a little tighter than the other two games I mentioned above. After that the rest of the games are pretty even. We keep coming back with daily soccer picks. Here are my picks for the week.

Forward

Top: Anthony Martial $8,700

Rashford $9,300  might be the highest owned player on the slate and he is in a great spot to score a goal however I do not mind going down to Martial who should be owned way less than Rashford and should have plenty of opportunities to score as well. Both are great options but in gpp I like the Rashford fade and the Martial play.

Mid: Michy Batshuayi $8,100

Bats might be my favorite play in the entire slate at home against Huddersfield. The Huddersfield defense has been so good to me this season and made me a lot of money so why stop now. Bats is in a great spot to get a goal here and maybe more. Joshua King $7,000 is also in a really nice spot against Leicester and has been in great form scoring a brace last time out against Newcastle and scoring for Norway as well over the international break.

Value: Glenn Murray $5,300

Murray is as low as I would go on this slate and I do not mind the play at all. Southampton has given up 7 goals in their last four games and Murray can score on this team just like he did earlier in the season.

Midfielders

Top: James Maddison $8,800

Maddison might be the second highest owned player on the slate but he is just so good that I might have to eat the chalk here and play him in gpp. His price is also very fair to the point where you can play Maddison as well as a few other studs in your lineups.

.

Mid: Gylfi Sigurdsson $7,900

If Digne ends up missing this game Gylfi would become my top midfield option and would be an amazing late game hammer. He would have complete set monopoly and would be a lock to reach value and the matchup on the road against West Ham does not scare me away. Just make sure Digne is out before hitting that lock button here.

Value: Demarai Gray $5,300

I wish Demarai was a little cheaper because he is in a good spot but the price does seem a little higher than normal. However if i do need the salary relief he would be my favorite choice. I think I will find my value elsewhere.

Defense

Top: Yan Valery $4,800

With Digne likely out Valery pops as my favorite defender of the slate. Most will turn to Ashley Young $5,800 but he has been pretty underwhelming lately scoring 10 points combined in his last two games compared to Valery’s 28 points in his last two games including two goals. The matchup against Brighton is also a plus.

Mid: Jose Holebas $4,700

The matchup against United is not ideal but for this price I think we can take a chance on Holebas. He seems like a pretty safe bet for 5-6 crosses and maybe a couple of shots and that should be enough to reach value. Just remember this is the first time since January that Holebas has been sub 6k.

Value: Leighton Baines $3,300

Could be the cheapest fullback on the slate if he is given the start over Digne. At this price we really do not need much from him to reach value but the potential upside is pretty big.

Goalkeeper

Vicente Guaita $5,700

With the way draftkings priced this slate I do not see a reason to not be able to fit Guaita into my lineups. Another plus is that log watchers will see the last two games with negatives and will go running to the hills. Crystal Palace should dominate Huddersfield and Guaita should be able to lock up 10 points for a clean sheet and a win. If he can add a few saves then 12-14 seems like a real possibility.

As always if you have any questions feel free to send me a message on discord or on twitter. I can’t wait to see all the screenshots after we dominate this week! Enjoy the slate and make sure to tune in to our slack when lineups come out since we usually drop a play or two in there as well.
