Slate Thoughts:

  • There are four cash options at pitcher for tonight slate that depends on what you want to do with your bats. Christian Javier and Patrick Corbin are my favorite options out of the four. James Paxton and Kevin Gausman will also be popular because of their price tags. Each of the four comes with a solid matchup on this slate. They also sit in differing price ranges, allowing you to mix and match depends on how much money you have after selecting your batters.
  • Any of the four cash options can also be used in tournaments with somewhat of a limited slate tonight. Nathan Eovaldi is an option that could go overlooked. I don’t love him as a pitcher, but he gets a matchup against the New York Yankees who will be without two of their most dangerous hitters. Alex Young is another pitcher that I’ll be considered tonight. He’s moving into a starting spot because of injury and gets a high upside matchup against a great offense that strikes out a lot. He’s a deep GPP option.
  • There are two stacks that will be owned heavily in cash games. The first is the Colorado Rockies who boast an implied team total of 6.5 runs. The second stack is the Houston Astros who get a great matchup and feature the second-highest implied total on the slate. The Washington Nationals make up the safe GPP stack on this slate.
  • German Marquez could get some ownership on this slate, making the Texas Rangers an outstanding GPP stack after they burned everyone last night. The Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, and San Diego Padres are all high upside stacking options that can be considered in tournaments.
